The must disappointed I have been with a school. The principal is so rude and only cares about the number of students not care about their staff. The students curse out the staff and the principal does not care. Very very disappointed. If the principal is reading this if you quit it will make many happy :) you deserve no respect you should be fired.

The school is amazing and has amazing teachers, students, and parents in it. Even if there are some bad teachers or students the school should not be put down this bad due to a couple fist fights. Thank you for reading.

The school administration was helpful and flexible with our challenges with our daughter's education.

I have a son who is currently a sophomore at Clay High School. I feel it is one of the best high schools in South Bend. I have read some of the other reviews.... yes, there are problems with ALL schools.... anyone who thinks their school has no problems need their head examined. My son has been taught how and why to make good choices, he has support from all of his teachers. I had complete cooperation between my self and his teachers as a freshman, and this year as a sophomore. I keep open communications with his teachers. I have complete confidence with Clay High School. I recently had an issue at the school. Although I have not met with the principal personally, I sent him an email and the problem was addressed the same day. My son said that the principal later asked him if I was okay with the response that he had gotten from me. I can say that I have confidence in this school.

I graduated from Clay and I think it is the best school in South Bend. Some of the policies are ridiculous, but they are there for a reason. When Mr. Eid became principal it was a night and day difference. They got rid of homeroom to have more class time, we has ECA study times at the end of certain classes to help prepare us. The teachers are so caring and committed to the students. I had teachers who would go above and beyond just to make sure the students were taken care of and learned the material. Granted, there were a few bad apples in the bunch, but that is in every profession. I loved my time at Clay. I think it all depends on who you involve yourself with. It you are there for an education and not just to fool around, you will see it isn't bad.
