- Submitted by parent on April 13, 2017GJA is by far one of the best schools in Michigan that combines a second to none scholastics, exceptional band program, and Christian education, all in a beautiful country setting!We home-schooled our first two children until the 3rd was ready for school, and then enrolled all three of them in GJA. The teachers are as exceptional in all ways, and exemplify a Christlike Character. One of the best blessings also is the band, that always amazes me on how my children went from not ever playing an instrument, to playing multiple of them very well! I have heard many school bands play, and none have come close to this one, especially for it's size! If you are looking for a small school where your child(dren) can be taught high standards of education, ethics, physical fitness, and Christian values, all with a loving approach, then you have found it here at GJA!-John S. - Submitted by other on July 30, 2013My school has an amazing band, choir, and hand bell choir that everyone gets to be part of. Each student gets their own instrument to learn and play throughout the year. The teachers help every one student, and nobody gets left out. This school is the best!
