They pay their teachers under 30,000 a year. This is abhorrent considering this is a full time position. I make more money at McDonald’s

St Margaret School is a wonderful school filled with faith, learning and fun. The teachers and principal go above and beyond to meet the students' individual needs. It is a building where respect for self and others is apart of the daily routine. Kids learn about the Catholic faith while also receiving academics that promote success and confidence. The building is a community of kids who look out for one another. Middle school kids are taught to be role models for younger children. School is an extension of home where kids are happy and productive. My high schooler, a St M graduate, is an honor student at the high school and his teachers have remarked on his respect for others and dedication to his studies, a by-product of years spent at St. M! Check out this school!

I love St. Margaret School! All of my kids have gone here and have gone on to wonderful things. Not only did they get a wonderful academic experience, but they learned empathy, caring, and love as part of this community. Older kids work with younger ones as part of mentorship programs. All kids know each other, no matter the grade. The teachers all go above and beyond for every child. They teach here because they want to. All of them could make much more teaching in a public school, but they choose this environment instead. This is a hidden gem in Allegan County.

I have lived in this school community all of my life. I attended and graduated from St. Margaret School in 1974. I sent my four children to St. Margaret School from K-8 grades. I went to work for St. Margaret School as a volunteer and eventually as a teacher, and then the as the school secretary. I am proud to be a part of the legacy that began in 1960. It is an education promoting body, mind, and Spirit. This year, our theme is Aim Higher, and we will do this through faith, service, and leadership under the guidance of our new priest, Father Benjamin Huynh.
