I have two children enrolled at Incarnation, and the oldest has been attending this school for three years now. Both of my children absolutely love going to school here, and my husband and I are very pleased with what they are learning inside and outside the classroom. The principal and teachers are very dedicated, and the school has a great community filled with wonderful families.

Incarnation is a fantastic learning environment with an excellent staff. We are so happy our child attends school there! The school is small enough that kids (and parents) get the attention they need yet is robust enough to offer many extra-curicular programs. And the administration is very willing to listen to any new ideas. We highly recommend Inca.

What an amazing school. The new principal is phenomenal and has made excellent improvements to the school. The 8th grade teacher, Rachel Rufus, is outstanding! She is definitely an asset to the school! You will not regret having your child at this school.

Mid school year review for this school is good so far. The principal came back from long hiatus and thus far, everything seem to be going well with the priest and school relationship.; that may change towards the end of school year, however.

There is a point when parents need to stop looking at the past and start looking towards the future. The school hired a fabulous new Principal who previously was VP at highly esteemed Notre Dame High School. Also, a new very organized and diligent 8th grade teacher has just been announced as a new hire...(with academic decathlon coach, WASC/WCEA chairperson experience) a teacher with a wealth of experience!! A huge plus considering the importance for families with children preparing for their high school search. With these two incredible new hires....The school is already at a positive and exciting turning point.

The school recently celebrated its 75th anniversary and has a long history being a faithful part of the community since the 1940s not a lot of institutions can say that!

The priest hired the principal knowing she did not have the credentials to be a principal. Priest has his own agenda. He needs to remove himself from school dealings. He's ruining the school. He didn't allow a great teacher to interview for the principal position because she forwarded her resume to the archdiocese. It hurt his pride. He's letting a great math teacher go because his credentials lapsed. However, he was able to renew them. This done just a month before school end. Definitely has hurt the kids. School lacks consistency. If you love inconsistency and instability, come to Incarnation. You'll be glad you did.

Why blame the priest who fired the principal? She isn't doing her job well! In my opinion, if the principal doesn't know much about running a school, she should choose a a vice-principal who knows how. The principal was based on performance and the teachers' aides were based on budget.

A 2 year principal who was once a long time teacher of this school has been let go (fired?) by the priest. 1 year ago, all teachers aides and a long time clerk were terminated by the same priest. What is going on in this school we don't know about?

Incarnation is doing so well! We are one third of the way done and we have had so much fun learning! We have a wonderful group of new parents that make every event exciting for the children. I am so proud that we are there and the children are very happy..we have seen really positive things happen to our school! I feel that the parents, students, faculty, staff and administration have done a fantastic job, in making the children feel so happy in this learning environment!

I have two children at this school and continue to be pleased with all that it offers. While losing some of the aides was sad, it has not hindered the academic programs at all, and honestly an aide is not necessary in my child's fifth grade class of only 26 children. My children are happy to go to school daily, and thriving academically according to all measures. The parents are involved and invested in the school. Some strong personalities make mountains out of molehills and seem determined to hurt Incarnation's image. But if you look for yourself you will find much to love about Incarnation.

As the parent of a younger-grade child, I've been very happy with Incarnation school. There seems to be an old-guard group of parents who are unhappy with the recent success of the school. The reason they are unhappy is that enrollment has gone up - which means that classes are at capacity. They understandably preferred a past when classes were smaller...but I think that's an underestimation of the teachers' skills. Another recent controversy causing dissent is the release of teachers' aides for grades 4+. The Administration avers that this reduction in staff is in line with Diocese guidelines...but the parents are reacting to any reduction in staff as a dire event. Again, I see it as an underestimation of the present teaching staff. Aides for older grade classes might be a luxury, but they are not a necessity. The school has well-behaved students with very involved parents. The teachers are capable of maintaining order & educating the students. At the end of the day, the tuition is a great deal for such a caring and intimate school. I think the critics should vote with their feet, but I fear they believe that public harping can change the inevitable progress.

The loss of many staff members will surely cause some problems next school year. Unfortunately, the school's excuse to terminate their employment was due to lack of funds. This school has a on-going problem with mismanaging its finances for several years now. Some of the expenses were extravagant such as holding parties at 5 star hotels and giving away brand new cars. This school will continue to go downhill and many more staff terminations to follow. I do not want any parent to experience these problems, and I will not recommend any parent to enroll his/her child.

I am a student here. This school absolutely sucks. I wouldn't even give it HALF a star. The teachers & staff are lovely but the other students are rude & incompetent. They are mean & there alot of bullies & I would not reccommend this school to anyone. I've been at this school for a while now & I've had so many HORRIBLE experiences. I get bullied almost everyday & I want to move schools.

I love Incarnation Parish School, and I can't wait for the summer to be over! My favorite subjects are Science, Social Studies, Math, Literature (creative writing), and Religion. The teachers make studying fun! I'm glad my parents gave my brother and me a chance to go to this school. With a good foundation, I know from my heart that I will be successful someday, and thanks to my parents and all the caring teachers at INCA!

We've been through several Catholic schools, and INCA by far is the best in academics, safety, and value. Although there are things that the school could improve upon; we are very satisfied with the teachers and staff. Yes, we are concerned about the loss of higher grade teacher assistants, except for one, but we also understand that the school has fiscal responsibilities they must meet. We are pleased that INCA is pushing forward with the CORE Values for higher achievement and to be competitive. We highly recommend this school to everyone!

This school is overcrowded with students in each classrooms. Many teachers have voiced their concerns over the firings of the aides that they may not be able to function like they used to. Many parents have also voiced their concern over the safety of their children especially before school, lunch time, and afterschool since these aides were also supervising the children when not in the classrooms. At the present moment, the administration HAS NO ANSWER to these problems and seemed to have shoved them under the rug. Downsizing is never good for children and the entire school in general. I will never, ever recommend this school to anyone. Thank you.

Rude, rude principal -- I called her several times and sent an email. When I never received a response, I asked the office staff and was told that if she wasn't interested, she did not respond, which is the bottom of the barrel in civility or its lack thereof -- want your child in that school?

Numerous errors on this year's yearbook helped end the school year on a sour note. Errors included blurry pictures, misspelled names, incorrect pictures and missing pictures. Errors affected many students. School has not arrived at a remedy. These yearbooks were $30. A big embarrassment for the school. Most teachers are very good. Need more emphasis on math at the 3rd grade level. Communication between administration and parents is poor. Lead administrator needs to show more involvement/interest at school related functions outside of school like Academic Decathlon. School is not as challenging and as professional in previous years.
