My experience with Columbus Elementary School has been disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. As a parent, I expected a supportive and nurturing environment for my child, but unfortunately, this hasn’t been the case.

This is a terrible school where students are bullied and discriminated against. In this school, every day the child is exposed to physical and psychological influence from the students. The administration does not respond to complaints about child bullying at school. The administration promises to sort everything out but does nothing. The school staff are rude to the parents of the students. There are no additional classes for the child at school, and there are no sports sections. if you want your child to be beaten, bullied every day, and your complaints remain unanswered, then this is the school for you. This school claims to adhere to a policy of tolerance and non-discrimination based on nationality, but in fact this is not the case. if your child is not of the dominant nationality at this school, then he will face humiliation and discrimination. The school administration does nothing when you complain about discrimination and humiliation. The administration, instead of protecting your child, is looking for a reason to accuse you of violating school rules. I do not recommend sending your child to this school.

Horrible school, horrible staff, horrible management who think it's fine to lose all of a student's enrollment papers and social security number. Not to mention 10 years ago I was bullied by the kids there and nothing was done about it. Nastiest school out there.

This is an amazing school. My daughter has been here for two years now. She started in fourth grade. The staff here is wonderful. From the principal down to the maintenance people. They are always helpful. We had moved from Esperanza Elem. Sch. With LAUSD.

Columbus is one of the best schools, I want to say really in the WORLD! That's because of my daughter's progress here in COLUMBUS. We are an immigrant family who came to the U.S exactley when my daughter started attending to preschool in Columbus. She didn't know even a word in English. Now she is in first grade and her reading level is equal to second grader in seventh month of school. I am really proud of her and really thankful to her teachers specially Ms. Norma (preschool), Mrs. Hande(Kintergarten) and Mrs. kugelfirst grade), and ofcourse my daughter herself. WE LOVE YOU COLUMBUS.
