Although I transferred my kids to this school, I'm glad that I did. School has strong connection between parents and teachers, staff and parents, even the principal is very approachable, warmly welcome parents and students. Great communication between parents and school.

This is my Son's second year at Barker, he is in 2nd Grade. I have been very impressed with his teachers and how much they care about his sucess. He is a good citizen in class but struggles to keep up with the pace and the work load. By working closely with his teachers he stays on track. I also love the Principal. He is very engaged with the students and clearly cares a great deal about their success. He takes an active role in assisting the teachers and works very well with the parents. Barker is a high achieving school and there is much work that goes along with maintaining that standard, students are expected to work hard and be responsible at every grade level. Keeping my son up to that standard has been hard, but, 100% worth it. Another school might mean less homework at night, but, I don't think that would be worth it.

This school is the best, I have never regretted moving my child to this school.
