Robert C Fisler is a great school! I am a current student and this is what I have to say. The students here are very kind and helpful they would help you no mater what. Just like any school we do have kids that don't listen...... but that's normal. The teachers are okay let me rephrase some are nice others not so much! Fisler does try to discipline their students well at least the teachers do. We have a rule to follow KSRR, kind, safe, respectful, responsible. Students with mental disabilities such as autism do get what they need, teachers are really kind with such students. Overall fisler is an okay school there are better!

I really hate this school. It seems like I go to school to get scolded every day. This is absolutely not a school for education. There seem to be no advantages and there are many problems. And this school does not respect Koreans. Not all teachers are normal. And I saw a lot of children with dual personalities. I'm really glad I only stayed for a year. If I leave, I don't want to come to this school again.

This school is a sexist school with mostly women teachers whenever a girl tells the teacher on you. The teachers believe anything the girl says but will need evidence whenever a boy says something mind you the people she asks are usually the girls friends unfair i know. This school is racist students call other students racist names. And bullying here is common I would not reccomend going here also to be fair all the good reviews are written by the principal friends.

I like the school very much. The teachers are always supportive and helping to all the students no matter what the race is. There are a couple of strict teachers at this school, but all the teachers are usually nice unless you are in trouble. Fisler is a great learning environment for student and even teachers to learn and communicate together as one. My experience with being new was awesome. A lot of the kids were so supportive and wanted to include me. But one warning. There are some people who are not nice and made me have very um... sad/angry experiences. I really like how Fisler not only cares about academics but also cares about good traits and thoughts to have in life. Fisler teaches people how to have the empathy to apologize and forgive one another which is really import in a daily basis. They have also taught many positive skills that are good to have like. Flexibility, KSRR, Optimism, Persistence, and a bunch more. I really do recommend this school and hope everyone new has a great learning experience here.

This school does include advanced technology. There are amazing teachers, but some of them are way too strict or have poor skills in certain subjects. Bullying is actually pretty common here. Students aren't very inclusive to other groups, like they when you ask, they'll make up an excuse but they'll invite someone over. Unlike the other reviews, I don't think this school is a school where only Koreans are welcomed. I'm a Korean myself and I'm friends with people of multiple ethnicities. I personally don't recommend Fisler because of the us students. If you want your child to not be involved with gossiping, bulling, etc, in such an early age, think twice (some of the teachers and staff are irresponsible, but most of them are cool).

I currently attend this school, and I think it is really fun. They teach us a lot with technology, which is something most schools don't do.

Robert C. Fisler School does whatever that is needed to ensure student safety and effective learning. The school also works continuously toward building a positive school culture to maintain and accomplish this. They take every opportunity to welcome parent and community voice by having various teams such as English Language Advisory Committee, School Safety Committee, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, School Site Council, Parent Teacher Student Association, Fisler Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Technology, and more. They teach their students to be a Navigator, one that is Kind, Safe, Respectful, and Responsible. Themes based on mindsets for learning are implemented and emphasized throughout the year with school activities and events to build empathy, flexibility, persistence, resilience, and optimism. These include: a New Student Program, where new Navigators feel welcomed to be part of the Fisler Family. Celebrating Diversity through All the Arts, where the community spends a week celebrating differences and similarities through music, art, theatre, and dance. The Great Kindness Challenge, where students are taught the importance and effect of kindness, pledging to continue this movement permanently. Staff, teachers, and administration truly does work endlessly in making sure that Robert C. Fisler School is a home away from home for all their students and community.

The school system is good, but if you are not Korean you will not fit in. The majority of parents won’t even bother to talk to you, they are very stuck up. If you are a transfer here they try to get rid of you as soon as possible. Other schools have the same education system and you will feel more included. Overall this is a good school, but some ethnicities, like ours, don’t fit in.

My kids and I are having a great experience at Fisler School. The quality of instruction and use of technology far exceeds that of any other elementary or middle school in the area. I am especially grateful for Mrs. Lee, the principal. It is apparent that she cares deeply for every single child who passes through Fisler. I recommend Fisler for any parent that wants their child to excel!

As I look back at my years at Fisler, I realize that the main reason why I had a trouble-free transition into high school was because of the positive impact that Fisler had on me. I want to share my experience, so that people can get a first hand account of how amazing Fisler actually is. In terms of academics, Fisler is far superior than other elementary/middle schools. Fisler has some of the most dedicated and hardworking teachers who go out of their way to help their students, both during and outside of school hours. The skills that I learned at Fisler help me in all my classes, especially my AP and IB classes. My standardized test scores are also much higher than those of my peers (this is common for majority of Fisler’s past students). The staff at Fisler shows that they truly care for the students. They take the time to get to know the students and do everything they can to help them succeed. This applies to not only the teachers, but also to the principal and assistant principal. The principal, Mrs. Lee, is extremely hardworking and dedicated to the school. She can be seen at all of Fisler’s events, talking to and interacting with the parents and students. Mrs. Lee always goes above and beyond and her love for the school is apparent. Thank you, Fisler for some of the greatest years of my life.

Overall it is a good school, lots of technology and advanced programs for kids. Teachers in general are very invested in the students with a small handful that need to work on their patience and organizational skills. The most negative aspect about the school is the social environment. If you aren't Korean, don't bother coming here. More than 80% of school is Korean and they are not inclusive of other groups. Most parents and even the students speak to each other in Korean at school functions. This includes the principal. Under Mrs. Lee's leadership, the school has become less and less diverse. She seems to encourage this Korean-centric environment - only acknowledging the Korean parents and speaking to them in Korean as well.

Very "exclusive" environment. The children are not very kind to each other. This social skill is apparently not valued. There is very little accountability placed on the administration and faculty to create or maintain a safe place for newcomers. If your child did not begin here by second grade, expect that your child will be considered an "outsider" and will likely be alienated by most of the students, especially those who are favored by school employees. If you are not concerned about your child being bullied or ridiculed with impunity, the academic expectations and instruction are excellent. This accounts for the two-star rating.

It is indeed a very high tech school, which I think it is a great advantage. Most of the parents are involved which is also great! Teachers are very qualified and caring. School size is also perfect, not too big not too small. It is located in a great neighborhood too.

Fisler overall is a good school -- somewhere between 3-4 stars. Parents are involved, the community is affluent, and the students are smart. But.. 1. Too much reliance on technology--I am not convinced that the technology is enhancing learning. It definitely makes life easier for teachers, and there are certainly some cool products that students make with the technology, but I do not see it being used to teach real 21st century skills. 2. Too much reliance on singular technology platform--meaning only Apple products. The community is wealthy so it may not seem to be a problem to ask parents to cough up $1000 for their child's Apple laptop for the 1-1 device program. But, there are many other products that are equal if not superior to Apple that cost 1/3 the price that use Microsoft Office. The majority of the world uses Office. 3. The new principal has only been an assistant principal for one year, has (or will have) her own kids at the school, and used to be a teacher there. Does anyone else see the conflict of interest? I am really hoping she has integrity and that there isn't any favoritism. 4. Too many Koreans that stick to just themselves. It's very clicky.

Robert C. Fisler is an incredible school. My daughter is in first grade and she is leaps and bounds ahead of her friends that attend schools in other areas. She is always challenged to learn and to strive for excellence. She is positively encouraged with just the right emphasis on behavior and leadership. Possibly the most well-balanced teaching techniques available in the public school system.

I think that others should know that this school is has a safe, and smart environment while working to improve it so that it is safe for kids to learn.

I attended this school since its openings from 2004-2010, all the way up until high school. Prior to the hiring of Principal Lai, Principal Pierce led our school and truly made our school the shining standard for elementary and junior high schools in Orange County. I excelled here with ease, but I could not say that with confidence had I not had, for the most part, truly competent teachers that both made classroom learning a joy and intensive. There is no room for incompetence here-we Navigators have quickly risen through the rankings as an excellent school, and the huge waitlist of students wishing to attend here is simple proof of that. While I have heard Principal Lai is not as competent or brilliant as her predecessor was, I am aware most of the core teachers that were in effect when I attended are still there. That fact alone gives me great hope in the school's tradition of excellence and great achievement. This is a school you want to send your kids to. The only reason why I left off a star is merely personal-I feel the behavioral guidelines were a little too strict on the students, feeling almost like a private school, but nevertheless, they did not hamper my experience.

My children have nearly completed Kindergarten in this school, and I am AMAZED by how much they have learned and grown since the beginning of the year. All of the teachers are caring and there is a very strong and supportive academic environment at the school. True, the school doesn't have a lot of diversity -- my kids are part of the "minority" -- but they have no problem making friends and fitting in.
