I loved my experience at this high school. I transferred into Franklinton mid 10th grade after being to a private school in 9th and a charter the beginning of 10th. I had great teachers that I felt actually cared about me and my education and were always willing to help and offered extra help when and if needed.

Some great teachers, but a few slack teachers that are able to get away with it. Other than that, it has been a fairly decent school for my son. The building is nice and new, but they really need some better qualified teachers. When a teacher is able to nap during class and then continually have the smarter students in their class teach their lessons for them because they themselves do not know the material, you really have to wonder how they are on payroll. It's amazing that the Principal allows this to go on. Administration needs to get out of their office and open their eyes to what is going on in the classrooms.

Great high school with very caring teachers and administration. There are many challenging courses offered. It is a beautiful new building filled with teachers who want the students to succeed.
