Before I start this review, I will just say this will be long. This school is full of bullies and bigots. I have been repeatedly harrassed by over 25 students at this school, and only 2 of them have had any consequences and even then they continue. Most of the bullying I’ve faced is due to me being part of the LGBTQ+ community, and not being religious. Even the few times I’ve been supported and the bullies faced consequences the teachers constantly tried to make it out like it was somehow my fault too. Kids are constantly running around saying slurs and I’ve even seen people draw nazi symbols in class. The education is really bad and only sticks to bare minimum lessons. They don’t care if you learn they just want you to pass the tests, and that’s the only reason why the scores are so high. Their punishments are really harsh for no reason too. They have this mentality that because they’re older they’re better than everyone else and they belittle and insult the students in front of everyone. The principal is an absolute clown that barely runs his own school and nobody seems to actually be in charge so they do whatever they want. The special education system is also garbage, and if you don’t “look disabled enough” you will receive absolutely zero help. I was told I “can’t be autistic” because I’m too smart by the SPECIAL ED TEACHER. This school also has a serious problem with sexual harassment. Me and my friends have been objectified by most of the guys and the teachers don’t do anything because “boys will be boys”. The school is extremely sexist too. Girls can’t wear a skirt that is an inch too high but if a boy wears a shirt that has Andrew freaking Tate smoking shirtless on it that’s perfectly fine. Yes that is an actual thing that happened. I’ve also heard that extracurriculars are really bad according to friends and other reviews. The boys sports get talked about all the time and the girls sports don’t even get mentioned. If you’re doing anything other than football or cheerleading you don’t get to do anything. Also, apparently you aren’t able to join the drama club unless you get a part in a school play… I was also deadnamed in the yearbook which was honestly the final straw that led to me writing this review. My experience at this school district was so bad me and my family decided to move to California permanently so I wouldn’t have to spend another year at that school.

My 6th grade son’s leg was broken by wrestling “coach” Cash in an aggressive and negligent manner in an attempt to show him something. The coach, being 3 times the size of my son, wound up breaking my son’s leg, leading to an ER visit, 2 months in a cast, physical therapy, and a young boy who is now traumatized. The school and county refuse to accept any responsibility, leaving us with all expenses out of pocket because of high deductible insurance. Apparently grown men breaking the bones of their 11 year old students is acceptable behavior. Weight classes exist in wrestling FOR A REASON. A 200 pound man should NOT be executing a complete wrestling move on a 65 lb boy. The school and county’s lack of accountability is appalling. I’m ashamed to live here and support this school district.

If you are looking for a school environment where your child will have a diverse, bully free, engaged teachers, acceptance of all races, genders, and full social and emotional support do not send them to Page Middle School in Franklin TN. We moved here from out of state in 2022 and were placed in page middle. The teachers themselves belittle the students and the curriculum focuses on copy and paste monday, here is a study guide Tuesday and let’s have a quiz on Wednesday. They teach the children how to take tests they do not teach to learn. If your child is not caucasian be prepared to have your children be bullied to the worst degree inside of school and on the bus home. If your child needs any sort of in school mental health services that you request will not receive any. Don’t bother emailing the principal he is on as much of a power trip as the teachers are. Problem children that disrupt class are not dealt with making it difficult for the rest of the class to learn. Unless your kid is into cheerleading and football don’t expect real dedicated after school clubs or engagement from the school community to encourage children who are not on the sports teams, The only focus in this school is hitting the TCAP marks to keep the facade this is a functional school. They teach nothing on the exam and then do practice drills the same weeks of other important exams inclusive of mountains of home work. Expect burn out from your kids very quickly. Prepare to also send your child with food to school as the lunch times begin at 9am and the food they serve is abysmal. The 9 out of 10 rating is purely based on test score numbers. The only positive of this school is it is well secured against intruders with dedicated deputies on site. Do not place your kids in Page Middle or Page High.

This school is ok. Now they have 3 floors and over 1200 students. But it's still crowded even after they said "It's not gonna be crowded" It is very crowded. The principal is a straight clown he does nothing. The office has a horrible attitude all the time. The dress code is a problem. Girls can't go more than an inch. Skirts aren't allowed. Sexist in some places. 8th Grade has the "N-Word Pass." so they go around yelling that. The teachers are okay. I will say though, their Academics and Athletics are spot on! Above Average on everything. Overall it's just an average school. It does look nice on the outside but inside not so much. Pretty much no fighting or bullying either.

I loved this school when I went there for the past three years.

My child attended this school for one year and I was shocked to hear how freely the n-word was used by students in the hallways and school bus. Met with school counselor and our concerns were pretty much shrugged off as “this is the south”. Sorry, this is a problem and Williamson County schools better address this and point blank state which terms are NOT acceptable instead of a generic “we will not stand for racism and hate”.

Unfortunately I rate this school most likely normal since the “No child left behind” was implemented, teachers simply hand out a lesson plans student’s have to figure it out and hope they get it. If you are thinking of moving to Williamson county just because of the school system you are not getting much more then you would in Davidson, except for the students Environment which has little to no bullying or fighting

Page Middle has been a great experience for our family. Sadly, looking at some of the reviews below and the date stamps, I suspect the ratings for this school are skewed by one frustrated parent. My kid has flourished at this school, feels safe, and feels heard. From the teachers to the coaching staff and all other in between, I’m impressed. Yes, the school is overcrowded. Construction is well underway on an addition that will relieve that. But anyone moving into this area needs to be prepared that most schools are overcrowded right now. It will balance out with time.

Both of my children graduated from Page Middle School. While the middle school years are very challenging for both students and parents, Page Middle provided a supportive environment for my children. The school felt like a community and staff seemed to generally be glad and thankful to be there. Any concerns that I had were addressed professionally and I gladly partnered with teachers to assist them and my children towards clear, educational goals. The secret of this "country" school is out and they are experiencing rapid growth and adapting to change as quickly as possible.

Wasn't fun, wasn't interesting, I didn't like most of the teachers, and students were mean to each other too. And I'm not a kid who got bullied. It's just everyone is so mean to each other, it's intoxicating.

This school isn't great. The school is way overcrowded- many classes are in trailers and the hallways are dirty and full of pushing students. The approach to learning is awful - all they care about is meeting the bare standard and getting good scores. There is no effort made to cater to gifted students. 8th graders eat lunch at 9:45 because this place is so small for the amount of kids going here. School punishes kids for dumb things but doesn't move a muscle when students say hurtful things. Boys sports are highly promoted but girls sports are rarely announced. Extremely sexist, as is the dress code. Horrible environment.

This school is such a disappointment. The principal is a clown. Plan on moving before home values decrease before the word gets out. Sorry excuse of a school

School is overcrowded, dirty, uncomfortable for the students. Run down. Looks like an impoverished school. 6th Grade eats their lunch at 9:55 am due to cafeteria being overcrowded. Our kids came down with several viruses this year as well due to overcrowded and dirty environment. Also, lice was an issue. School needs to be knocked down. I would recommend Brentwood as the schools seem to get the funding for remodels. Williamson County as a whole is losing ground so private school is probably a better option.

Do not send Your child here if they need any medical care. The nurse did not give medicine needed by our child even though they had permission and the medicine at school. Even after We called and told her to she said "I don't know where they are" Also has forgotten to give more than once. Make sure Your children call home if they need any medical help at school. The nurse does not believe in using hand sanitizer endangering the children's health and frowns on parents that give children needed medication. Nurse needs Replacing ASAP

The class sizes are smaller than the Brentwood schools our three children attended before. The teachers maximize the students' potential and assignments challenge students without wearing them out. Quality versus quantity seems to be the goal. The student body is compiled of down-to-earth kids with wonderful family values. Love, love, love this school !!! This is Williamson county's best kept secret. Shhhhh.
