We are so grateful that our children have attended Moore Elementary! It is certainly a gift to the city of Franklin. Filled with skilled and caring teachers and professionals, Moore has given our children such an amazing start to their educational journey. I could write a book on the ways I have witnessed teachers go above and beyond for their students. We will be eternally grateful for the community we’ve found and all the ways our children have grown during our time at Moore.

We love Moore Elementary! We live outside the district and are zone for an acceptable school. However, we have chosen to send our child to this amazing school and district through their tuition-based option because it is simply the best! The teachers and administrators know the students by name and make learning fun.

My twins are about to "graduate" from Moore Elementary to Freedom Middle School. They have been at Moore since kindergarten. Even during the pandemic, they still were able to learn due to the competence and drive of the teachers. During their tenure, they consistently had wonderful teachers and aids. This is not the same group of teachers who made national news for teaching topics which angered parents. (That is Williamson County School District... not Franklin Special School District). There is a very diverse population of children representing the diverse population we live in. From the staff to the faculty the environment is both welcoming and encouraging. This has been our experience at this institution.

My children had the most amazing experience at Moore!! They attended the past five years and each teacher truly gave 110% as they educated my children. They love the whole child and develop not only their academic abilities but also their social and emotional skills, as well. We love MES!

100000000000000000000/10. It's just the best elementary school and I loved it. Really engages your child, just like all the other Franklin Special School District Schools!

I cannot express how happy we are with Moore. There are so many things that make MES special. They really treat every student individually. Whether you have an advanced, average or child with a disability they will be accepted and learn at their level. Our daughter loves Moore and as parents we are so glad she loves her school. She has flourished and I would prefer Moore over any prep school.

Moore is a school that is above and beyond when it comes to the administrative leadership AND academics. Moore serves an ever-increasing diverse community and strives to focus (much like the rest of the Franklin Special School District) on the whole child utilizing ReadyK, Music, Art and PE to a greater degree than what other schools may utilize. Moore was recognized as a Reward school for both progress and performance in 2012 and 2013. The school is like a little oasis and our son has been there for five years and loves it so much. The teachers, staff and administration go out of their way to recognize all children. There is a sense of pride about doing life at Moore. We will miss this school dearly.

We did not have a great experience at Moore. We moved here from the Chicago suburbs for one year only. I think it was a combination of my son's teacher on her way to retirement, and the indescribable Titan allegiance. The school cleared out early on curriculum night b/c there was a football game coming on. The teacher left before I did and I passed an empty office on my way out. In math, they didn't cover anything that was new for my son until after Christmas. I was told there were no enrichment opportunities available. The office staff were helpful and kind. We loved having smaller class sizes, more PE, and longer lunch periods that we previously had.
