Teachers are alright I guess, classes and electives offered are pretty good, the overall school environment is okay, and overall just your average middle school with nothing too special. Out of 10, I would rate Fulton an 8.73/10.

My kid recently just graduated 8th grade and the experience for him was horrible, I regret not transferring him as soon as possible because of how mistreated he had been. The teachers barely care about how their students are feeling, and most of them give out mindless assignments every single day, and they do not take time to assess fun assignments like projects and different opportunities for my kid ti connect with others. Only a few teachers gave him the time of day, and usually he came home exhausted and had always complained about how he hated this school, I thought ‘He is a kid, how could he not love school?’ but after talking with him thoroughly I truly now see his perspective.

Both my son and daughter have gone to this school (7 years apart) and the quality has not changed. Most of the teacher's here really don't care about teaching or find the time to help the students with their work. I am finding that year after year, the quality has gone down and the communication is sub-par. When reaching out to the teachers, only a few respond, unless you go directly to the principal and complain. Also, the kids are not treated fairly and it seems the same students get to be a part of the special groups and sports. The school offers try outs for different sport activities, yet only selects a few top athletes, rather then offering to engage all students in these rare sport competitions. Sure, you can try out for basketball, soccer, track, volleyball, but you better make sure you are on a club team first, otherwise don't waste your time! The classes have lacked quality and substance as well. The electives are at a bare minimum and parents still have to "donate" for supplies that don't even contribute to any end product. The electives offered seem very boring and lack excitement and creativity. What kid wants to take public speaking as a "fun" elective??? There have been a handful of good teacher's at this school, but it is very rare and usually they leave and move on sadly.

Agree with the other parent.. It took them forever to setup a distant learning program during Covid and what the did put seemed like was extremely basic and I would bet anything that it took them 30 min to put together. Teachers ability to teach, drive to teach, and ability to communicate with parents tend to be poort overall. Few exceptions.

Most of the teachers and students were excellent. The office staff were not helpful. They had an arrogance about them, especially when you asked them for help or guidance. I sensed that they know that they had job-security and they didn't have to perform and work well and they would still keep their jobs.

The teachers/staff at this school vary, depending on the individual teacher. Some were absolutely excellent while others were shockingly disinterested and disengaged. The school does offer some wonderful courses that you can't find at other middle schools, which is great. Very surprised that the current principal is still there as he treated students very poorly during his first year (my student's 8th grade year), lacked awareness of many things happening at his school and didn't seem to take the time to work on earning teacher, student or parent respect. He made himself unavailable to parents and only when calls and complaints went to the school district superintendent office did he begrudgingly communicate with the parent. 6th & 7th grade were positive experiences for our student with the random 'hiccup' of a teacher that was not good. 8th grade-while positive teachers/class experiences, really took a turn due to how the principal was and how he handled things at the school. We actually opted to not send our other children to this school because of how things persisted due to the principal. The elementary school we were at feeds students to this middle school and many families opted to drive further and put their kids into another middle school in our district when news of this principal and how things had changed at the school came out because parents talk. This school used to be 'the school' and, hopefully, the school district will take the time to really evaluate what's happening there because it's a shame.

The school is excellent in terms of the quality of an education and atmosphere it provides. Like all schools, there are a few terrible teachers, but they are outnumbered by the rest of the staff. The office staff has an odd sense of humor which takes getting used to, but they're not trying to be rude. When I went here, I loved it and it's a decision I'll never regret.

Bad staff and services. I am disappointed at the quality of the staff this school. It is absolutely one of the worst staffs I've worked with. They are not genuinely supportive of my child, and it seems like they don't want my kids to go to school there. But at the end, I have no choice because I am in the Fulton zone. Hopefully the teachers are as good as they sound.
