Yes, the school is decent. Decent staff with decent education and decent opportunities. I wouldn’t say you go far in life going to this school. When I say decent opportunities I mean an education @ CSU or going into a trade. The average grade is a Low to mid C. The food is horrendous that is offered to students. Racism is present as is homophobia throughout the student body. Ignorance is expected though, as hardly anything effective is ever done to stop the hate. While in the past the athletics department has lacked they have received tremendous upgrade to equipment and space. Unfortunately, they still lack. I guess wrestling is the school’s greatest strength. On another note, they recently replaced the student parking lot and the bumps are so vast only 4x4s can get over them without absolutely cocking up the underside of your vehicle. So, find alternative parking for visiting the school for games.

Very low performing. Athletes can fail 5 out of 7 classes to be able to play. Racism is rampant and is used anytime leadership is questioned. A large percentage of students leave the district to get a good education.

Have had a very good experience with the staff and administration at Fort Lupton High School. Very involved as a parent and when a need has come up the school has been very receptive and quick to respond. Also love the program that they have set up with Aims Community College. What a benefit to our students.

FOR THE PARENT BELLOW GIVING ONE STAR!!!When us the students are in the halls, we have off periods and we have them for reasons, like maybe we have already done a class in that period, so then what do we do. we go to the halls so we don't get bored and then we wait for the next class. Sure, I'm not going to lie, there are only a few kids who ditch classes but not much. Then to the staff, no where in the world will you find a 100% happy loving staff, we all have a bad day, hell even a bad week but do we get taught and guided every day? Yes we do, if your child doesn't feel welcomed by the staff, well they need loosen up a bit because our staff is doing there best to always smile and be happy! So what I'm saying is let the child open up more to new people because both you and me and every one reading knows that being shy gets no one, anywhere good.

I am saddened when I walk in this school and see students not in classes, just hanging in the halls. I thought students should be in class and not on their phones. The discipline is inconsistent. I do not think my child feels welcome by staff.

The staff have been working on increasing expectations for all students and it shows. The Freshman Academy is an important part of making new students feel welcome and inviting them into the high school years. Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment classes at AIMS Community College have also provided opportunities for Fort Lupton Students. Overall, the school is a welcoming place that strives for academic rigor for all students.
