As a mother who had all of my children attend this school, I have to say it was an extremely disappointing experience. Bullying was a serious issue, and it was largely ignored or swept under the rug. Even when my child reached out to teachers for help—at a time when they were being threatened by a group of students—the response was a dismissive “try again.” The teaching was equally concerning. There was a noticeable lack of support, and the learning felt very hands-off. Much of the education seemed to rely on tablets instead of real engagement from teachers. In music class, my child was told they were “not old enough” to use the instruments. I found this baffling; if you’re teaching at an elementary school, shouldn’t you have instruments that are appropriate for their age? Instead, they spent more time watching GoNoodle than learning or playing music. There were also not enough student activities or meaningful events. Field day, which was supposed to be fun, was poorly organized and turned into nothing more than bounce houses. No concerts, no extracurricular activities—it felt like the school wasn't fostering any sense of community or personal growth.Additionally, the restrictions at lunch—where students weren't allowed to sit with their friends—seemed to stifle social development. How are kids supposed to learn to adapt to others if they're not even given the chance to interact with different peers? My family’s experience with this school was deeply disheartening, and I would not recommend it to anyone who wants their children to thrive. The combination of unchecked bullying, poor teaching practices, and lack of social opportunities is something no parent/child should have to endure.

I think this is a bad school because they dont send out paper work stating when the start school or what class your child is going to be in and when they send you a news letter for the schools it has one page for twombley and it says back to school is august 25th doesnt that mean your child will be going to school the next day after back to school night and i went to the school to drop my son off at school and there are 5 other parents out there waiting and i said why are u waiting school starts at 745 and they said the doors are locked and two other parents walk up and said they got a call stating that mondays are late starts and i said to the other parents i wish they would call everyone to let them know but i guess they dont and no where on the school website or when u call the school or the news letter they send you state that mondays are a late start

Twombly students, staff, and administrators are so welcoming to visitors! They are working very hard to provide children the most opportune education! You can tell they love kids and want the best for them in everyday! I admire how hard they work and have no doubt they are on their way to the top!!! Good job Twombly!!!
