Westminster Academy is such an amazing and Godly school. This is our second year with two of our three children attending. They are both excelling in their academic and social skills as well as spiritual growth! We couldn’t be happier here!

Westminster Academy in Fort Lauderdale has been an incredible experience for our family. The school does an amazing job of combining academic excellence with a strong emphasis on Christian values. The teachers truly care about the students, not just academically, but also in helping them grow spiritually and build strong character. I love how they integrate a biblical worldview into the learning process, making it more than just education—it's preparation for life. If you're looking for a place where your child can thrive both academically and spiritually, Westminster Academy is a fantastic choice!

5 years ago my son wanted to be in that school. 5 years later he is still in love with Westminster Academy. He does have his differences but he loves the "Lions''. My son doesn't want to go anywhere else. The teachers are Awesome. They always stay in touch. I believe the school can use more resources for the students, because the students are very ahead from regular students of their age group. The staff is great. They are ready to help with a smile. The Welcome center is knowledgeable of the school and friendly.Spiritually talking, the student does have a great path to follow. My son respects God very much and is always on top of his Chapel days, verses and other spiritual activities. I love that the leaders are doing a great job. Not every student is a Christian but the school impacts their lives and teaches them good spiritual values.The Pastor influences and guides the school very well as an Alumni. My son loves and is comfortable with the school. I myself also love and am comfortable with the school.

I am a graduate of, teacher at, and parent at WA. It's been really neat to experience this Christ-centered, college preparatory institution from all three perspectives. As a student, my elementary experience instilled a strong love for the Lord. Middle & High school afforded me opportunities that I wouldn't have experienced otherwise. I grew firm in my spiritual foundation, understanding that the Bible is applicable across all areas of life.Specifically as a college student, I was significantly better prepared for the academic course load than many of my peers. As a teacher, I have worked in multiple wonderful schools. However, working in this supportive, encouraging, Christian environment is unmatched. I feel appreciated and valued by both our administration as well as our WA families.As a parent, my preschool aged child is loved, cared for, and comes home singing Bible songs that warm my heart. His teachers are gentle, creative, and accessible.I would recommend this institution to families desiring strong academics integrated with a biblical worldview and also to those seeking employment in a positive, well-equipped work environment.

Our family has been a part of the Westminster Academy community for 8 years. We are so grateful to have committed teachers who love our children and challenge them to do their best academically but also care about their character and relationship with Christ. Our oldest daughter is in middle school now and we are grateful for the after-school opportunities allowing her to discover her gifts and talents. We are so thankful for the solid foundation WA is providing for our children as they partner with us as parents.

I am blessed to have my 4 children at WA! I have seen MANY changes over the last 8 years since we came, ALL for the best, especially as Joel Satterly came to be the Headmaster several years ago. Under his strong leadership and vision, we've seen the campus transform and the mission of the school strengthened. WA is a wonderful family-oriented community. Teachers help students grow academically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially and truly care about their students wanting to see them not only succeed but to be challenged. My children have had the chance to do many sports, extracurriculars, field trips, spiritual retreats and service opportunities. Students are encouraged to discover their God-given gifts and talents and use them for His glory. I've seen them shine under the direction of the incredible Preschool and Elementary music teacher, Mrs. Blatz! They learn Spanish starting in PreK from Sra. Thompson, Art techniques from Miss Salas and even Technology from Mrs. Hopkins in the state-of-the-art IQ Lab!It is an AMAZING school and I can't say enough good things about it. My kids are safe and cared for so well they feel like it's their second home. If you're looking for a Christ-centered, biblically based, college prep education for your child, you need to come and walk the campus on a tour to see the difference for yourself. It is a special place and I wouldn't want my kids anywhere else as they learn and grow and develop into godly young men and women ready to go out and make a difference in this world for Christ!

This school is an answer to my prayers. I am a new teacher here, and teach 5th grade. I was welcomed so graciously by all who work here, and I am so blessed to be a part of this wonderful place. It is a remarkable school, and after teaching 20 years in the Public school domain, in PA, it is refreshing to begin anew in such a loving, caring, positive environment. God is so good!

Our three sons have attended Westminster Academy through all grades and we have loved the family atmosphere while living in a large city. The education is excellent as evidenced by the difficult and diverse universities the students are accepted into. We appreciate that along with a great education, we know our sons were also receiving a Christ centered education and have had the opportunity to take part in multiple sports and fine arts activities!

I attended WA from PK3-12th grade and would not be the person I am today without the education I received. The diverse community of passionate teachers challenged me to identify and develop my strengths, pursue my passions, and stay grounded in my personal faith in Christ. Teachers at WA go above and beyond to support their students academically, socially, and spiritually. The extracurricular activities offered helped me to become well-rounded. I was fully prepared to succeed at the collegiate level. My time at WA inspired me to become an educational leader. Now my child attends WA, and my husband and I are so blessed to see her thrive as a result of administrators, teachers, and support staff who pour into her daily and create a learning environment that is safe, welcoming, and dynamic. The WA community is unique in so many ways!

Westminster is a great school- we love it! My daughter is in PK2 and absolutely adores her teacher Mrs. Cochrane who is so loving and warm. She has 4 children of her own and is a great mix of a warm and loving teacher yet knows how to get a group of 2 year olds to sit in a circle and attend and follow directions. My daughter loves going to school and gets excited for all her specials at school (especially Spanish with Senora Thompson and music with Mrs. Blatz!). My daughter has learned so much and built friendships all while being well loved on by her teachers and other faculty! We love that it is a faith-based school and melts our hearts when our daughter comes home saying bible verses, singing bible songs and reminding us to pray before we eat any food! Safety was also a huge priority to us when looking for a school and we feel she is very safe there with all the safety protocols and full time police on staff there the full days!

Westminster Academy has a great Christian education! In a world where everything is relative, it is amazing to rest assured that the kids are being educated with the absolute truth of Jesus Christ. "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." (Pr. 22:6). Working at WA as a Spanish teacher, I can testify to the diversity and respect for other cultures. All the teachers are experts in their subject area and they shine God's light to the students, by serving with their gifts and talents with excellence. The WA community (families and school staff) has a strong relationship that endures for a lifetime.

How will I describe working at (WA)? I will say it is such a blessing. We are all like a family. Where each one of us have different gifts and talents that we bring to the honor and glory of God. Where it is more than a job but a ministry. A place where Students are not just a number but a name with a face that we recognize. Beside teaching we pray, we care and we love for each one of the students that God has entrusted to us. Our administration and our principal, Dr. Farrar treats us with the ultimate respect and professionalism. As a mother, I was so blessed to have my daughters graduate from (WA). My two nephews graduated from WA. They received an excellent education, they had plenty of opportunities to develop their talents in athletics, art, and service clubs, and ultimately all their training allowed them to be admitted in their dream universities.

We are blessed that our two children were able to attend and graduate from Westminster Academy. We wanted our children to be part of a Christ center environment and that is exactly what WA is, not perfect for there is no perfect place, but a place where they excelled, felt safe were loved and received most importantly a well-rounded education that prepared them to attend college. They took away with them many memories especially when they reached their senior year. Teachers not only taught academics in the classroom but also discipled them about the realities of life, reminding them that in all they do they are to trust that God does have a plan for them. The counselors also guide and help our students in pointing them in the right direction. The college counselor does an exceptional job in advising and making sure the students stay on track during the college process.

This school is amazing. I hope to keep my students here for their entire education. Best thing by far is how much the teachers care and invest in the student's academic, social, and spiritual life. The small classroom settings allow for better quality education. They offer so much for the arts, athletics, robotics, and more! I feel my children are safe, loved, and being pushed to their potential.

Westminster Academy has been a great experience for our children for the last four years. We know that when we send our children to school, they will be challenged academically, loved by their teachers and classmates, and will be kept physically, mentally, and spiritually safe. Both of our daughters attended Westminster Academy from Pre-K through 12th grade. We are extremely satisfied with the excellent, biblically-based education that they received. They were very blessed to have had the spiritual guidance from their nurturing and caring teachers. The curriculum was challenging and aligned very well. My daughters did very well on their SAT's and ACT's and had the opportunity to take many Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses which helped prepare them for success at the highly competitive University of Florida. They presently are in graduate school at New York University studying Dentistry and Industrial Organizational Psychology.

WA is a place where you and your family will always feel safe. It is a great place for your kids to learn and teachers are well prepared. I first learned about the school because I was interested in the swim program but when I met the families and teachers, they automatically make you feel welcome. I love being part of a Christian environment where I can help guide kids and continue to grow our faith.

The community of people are like family. All the teachers love what they do and take personalized interest in the students. My child loves to go to school there and loves his teacher, Mrs jatoft!!
