Good curriculum but most teachers are tough to deal with. Bullying is a big problem in middle school. Teachers forcing closeted introverts to socialize and 'talk it out' with their bullies.

Never left review before but after reading what others stated on this School. Its simply not true. They have a strict code of conduct and any child regardless of social economic background will be expelled for breaking the rules. No Bullying No Drugs - incredible curriculum, top notch teaching staff. The only thing we can say is that the food at cafeteria used to be amazing but several years ago they switched and the new food provider is not nearly as good. Otherwise this is certainly one of the best schools you can send you children too.

Middle school student. Wealthier students with families that donate do not get punished for bad behavior. I have known many students who have bullied other students relentlessly for years, and have been reported. They have never been punished. The office is no help. Students sneak drugs into the school with no problem at all. Teachers blame students for their bad teaching.

So much bullying in middle school, nobody does anything about it. Bullys who are from rich and high donor families are not punished by staff members for their actions. These rich bullies that do not get punished will continue to bully. Even teachers have bullied students who struggle with school. Experiences with racism many times. Many teachers do nothing to help students with learning differences. Overall, would not recommend it.

Excellent! Great teachers, caring community committed to service and the ecology. Superb arts program with full orchestra, ceramics studio, and just about anything else you could want for your kid.

The academics are good but there is definitely a pay for play attitude. Children of high donor families are the ones who win special awards and have their disciplinary infractions overlooked. Wish I knew this going in.

We have had a very positive experience at Pine Crest. The teachers are dedicated, approachable and love what they do. The students have so much to choose from! We are very happy with the school and how much our children are learning and experiencing there! It is a wonderful school.

I wanted my kids to go to this school. Because it sells itself as one of "the best private international schools" in South of Florida. BUT my husband and I sended two emails to the administration to get the chance to visit the campus and that my two small kids can do the test. THEY NEVER REPLY!!!! For me it is the worst type of LACK OF RESPECT!! I will never send my children to a school like that.

Pine crest does not offer superior courses to most public schools but the the tuition costs at pine crest are stupid and wrong. Parents should not have to pay the same amount of money for a high school as for a college

I witness everyday my kids jumping out of their beds super motivated to their journey ahead. That is a blessing in itself. Over time I am seeing my kids blossoming academically. The school helped to create a great learning discipline and an environment where kids want to do their best everyday. The result is fast development. The school also offer amazing extra curricular programs like the strings orchestra, tennis, lego club and many others. I can see every year how my kids develop as students, citizens and leaders. Great school if you are committed to their education.

This is a great school for parents that want to use their legacy to the school or money to get titles, credit or special privileges to their children . If you want your kids to get recognition for their own accomplishments this is not the right school for you. Just my opinion. Good luck!!

Pine Crest is great academically. But some of the teachers are jaded and never change the curriculum around to make it fresh. Regardless, that is why I gave it three stars...the reason I didn't give it 5 is that there is no moral compass being reinforced in the school and that's my biggest problem with the school. I can do all I can from home but at school, the kids run rampant. A lot have little if no supervision. A lot are so advanced beyond their years even in middle school! (with sex, drugs and alcohol) and there is no drug testing at the school like some others.

Pine Crest School provides rigorous college preparation that promotes the student's sense of personal integrity and values. I have four children currently attending Pine Crest School and can honestly say that they have each been inspired academically, socially, aesthetically and even athletically.

Fantastic school! Our first year and we are so impressed with the school. In PK alone the kids are learning at a K-1st grade level in comparison to other schools. I have yet to meet anyone snobby and I am very involved. I am not saying I will not but if you take any school you will come across snobs...

Pine Crest School is a great school. The focus is on building a well rounded high achiever. I have two kids, one is in HS and the other is in MS in Boca. The kids love the school and I wouldn't consider any other school. As far as the parents are concerned, yes you have snobs and big shots, but once you get to know them they aren't too bad.

I am the parent of two kids at Pine Crest School, one in middle school and one in the lower school. My wife and I do not belong to a country club or yacht club. We both work and have to save in order to afford the tuition for both our kids. The school is an absolutely wonderful school and a wonderful fit for our kids. The tuition is expensive, but for what we get in return it is a bargain. Our kids are challenged but not stressed. They are taught to be independent, critical thinkers. The rigurous curriculum is enriched with art, music and athletic programs that are varied and welcoming to all levels of expertise. The facuty is engaged, dynamic and very approachable. The adminsitration is superb and has a strong sense of what the school is as a whole, but it is also open to new ideas and ways of teaching the students. The facilities are amazing. It is not a school that will fit every student and if either one of our kids was struggling we would reconsider the school. But as long as they are blossoming as students and caring, creative individuals, we will continue to put that money aside every month.
