This is our first few months here at Fort Irwin so we are new to this whole area. My daughter just started 3rd grade here and it's amazing. It's such a breath of fresh air in comparison to the schools in Killeen TX!The staff is awesome and friendly. Her teacher is wonderful so far. Her name is Mrs. Schaff. She is very easy to deal with and down to earth, yet has a great set of academic requirements for the students that isn't too much or too little. I feel like my daughter is more more motivated in her class than she has ever been in any class! Just perfect. I just love it! I don't know how else to put it.

My sons cellphone was stolen out of his backpack and completely destroyed. No one saw anything. How is that possible? Nothing could be done about this due to no one saw anything? How is my sons private property taken out of his backback in a classroom then taken to a girls bathroom and destroyed? Makes no sense I think out of all the schools my son has attended this is by far the worse.

Great school. Loved the teachers, the athletics & the after school clubs that are offered Never an issue with communication. Classes rotate occasionally which allows students in other rooms to get to know one another outside of recess. My kids never used the tutoring or after school assistance, but love that it's available.

So many issues I don't know where to begin. From the change of administration without notice . To the overall attitude of the staff, stiff very inflexible ,lack of creativity, technology or any teaching methods grounded in modern methodology. What you get is the bare minimum and not a bit more. No art programming and a very flimsy science experience if at all. Affirming words for students are in very short supply, However much attention to negative. Could not get out of this school fast enough.

I absolutely abhor this school. The quality of education and administration assistance was deplorable. I give it two thumbs down and caution parents against it.

We, as parents, have been very happy with this school. The Principal clearly cares about the students and has a no tolerance policy for bullying and thievery. The Teachers and office staff also are very dedicated. Our only concerns are that class sizes are very big, 34 in my daughter's 5th grade class, and there isn't a proper play ground, or an art teacher.Things that are probably a result of lack of funding from the state. As a concerned parent I make sure I am a regular volunteer at the school and I maintain regular contact with my daughter's teacher. We also make certain we hold our child responsible for her behavior and actions at school, as well as monitoring her homework.

We like this school. Principal Williams is a bit harsh with her words when students get loud in the cafeteria however she wants the kids to excel and encourages reading. Tiefort is fairly new for 3rd-5th grades. Kept clean and well maintained. It has a huge yard with basketball, handball, tether-ball and four square courts with a large grass area. The PTO works with the kids to earn money for play equipment. I think if your kids are willing to learn and do work, they will learn here.

I give this school A zero rating. Worst Principal and teachers i have ever had to deal with in my sons 9 yrs.
