My experience has not been the greatest. My oldest is in 4th grade she struggles academically with math. I suggested getting her into a resource class basically special education, instead of getting her the help she needs they say she's to smart for resource, but yet doesn't understand math. She gets frustrated has emotional outburst, so instead of helping come up with solutions to where she's more comfortable with math, they rather put her in counciling all because she gets emotional. I feel the teacher's don't listen to the parents when they offer suggestions or try to come up with a solution. I feel ignored I feel like the staff whather look down on you then truly get your kid the help they need. My daughter's teacher this year has been more concerned about retiring then actually teaching, my daughter can tell me more about the teacher's life then math itself. Whether your retiring or not teacher's need to talk less about their personal lives, and focus on actually teaching. I also don't think it's right either judging a student's sibling before they enter your classroom. My youngest does exceptionally well. I was told by a teacher, that because my oldest is a handful they feared having my youngest in their class. I'm sorry what kind of teachers, do you have if they're afraid of the next student. As a teacher, you should be prepared for any student that walks through your classroom door.

I have taken the time to go to schools for my son and i can honestly say I have never met a Principal so committed and engaged as the principal of this school and the after school programs are so inspiring and helpful for my son, he is in second grade, his class is small allowing the teacher to spend quality time with my son.
