School has a nice, safe and disciplined environment. However, not much homework and no advanced classes for gifted kids. There is a good Spanish curriculum that they teach here though. Lot of parent participation exists.

The principle of the school loves writing long memos about new rules, but nothing about learning.

Folsom Hills Elementary used to be on the top or 2nd top of API score among the school district, the statewide or similar school rating were all 10. These three years the score has been going down every year. Now the similar school rating score is only 7. I think the school management should pay more attention on how to improve in academically and prevent further academic decline . The school doesn't have challenge academic program

When I read some of these review I can't help but think some of these people are out for revenge. The truth is that Folsom Hills has a dedicated staff and a PTA that is the envy of the district. There are over 35 different PTA supported events and over 350 registered volunteers. Whenever I hear someone that isn't from the school say that they have heard that Folsom Hills is Cliquey, or that parents here don't accept new families (comment below), I can only think "well it's the biggest click I have ever seen" and any parent who wants to feel welcomed just needs to participate. That is the key to meeting people and making new friends in your new location. Folsom Hills is wonderful, and the reason many people choose to live within the attendance boundaries.

Excellent School!! After living in several areas of the state over the last 12 years and moving up from one of the most expensive areas in the Bay Area with the most sought after schools, I am proud to say I am part of the Briggs Ranch community and the Folsom Hills Elementary school. My two kids have made friends quickly, enjoy their teachers, and have improved their grades. I give the school an A+.
