This is a bad school they do not try to take their time with helping your child, they expect your child to already know everything that their teaching the principle has a nasty attitude towards your kids and teachers everyon.

My son just came in the middle of the school if I could I would pull him out but school getting ready to be out they don't communicate good with parents and if they do the first thing comes out there mouth what's going on in my home first time meeting the principal she's and piece of work herself saying things she knows nothing about I drop my son off one day I had and teacher open my car door and told me I can't be letting him out on the other side I didn't know but how she said it it was rude these people are for their self and not our kids my son as ADHD but whenever he gets in trouble send him to counsel they worrying about what he learn at home I promise I will fight next year for my son not to return back here I don't trust them and they way they communicate with you about your child is crazy I was told did I get and report did I get and report to my email did I went online and check power point I did and what I wanted you has and teacher to explain to me what my child needs I see grades what can I do to help the both of y'all out to get him to that passing point I talk to the counselor one day I was told yeah cause you don't want the police knocking on your door as and jokey way while I didn't see that was funny because my child put something in the search bar and they saying something crazy God I pray that I can get my son transfer somewhere else next year

My experience at this school was amazing!!! Coming from a previous student Royall has helped me so much! I now attend Sneed Middle and I am by far more prepared than students from other schools. I'm disappointed that we all had to be dumped into Sneed because it just doesn't do its job as a middle school. Royall has much better care for students and is the best school I have ever attended.

Children been bullied (even with proof they say they didn't see it) not had his proper accommodations for mental illness, learning disability or physical illness met. There is more than one parent that has had DSS called on them by this school out of retaliation. Don't recommend the school principal has been rude unprofessional to more than one parent and she gets away with it because her husband is higher up in Florence school district. It awfuL way a few Of us families have been treated by her and the disgrace and treatment of this school needs be known And addressed. Attacking families with mentally I'll children and calling DSS it wrong. What happen to safe learning place and our education system here?

The school boasts about being a "five-star", presidential school. However, the way that my child has been treated at the school, I wouldn't give them any stars. My son has been diagnosed with ADD/HD and he feels picked on by teacher since he's gotten there. He's been written up for having to be "redirected" and written up for supposedly " not following instructions". So now he's being suspended.. He can't learn if he's being suspended for everything! It doesn't matter to them that he has good grades with the exception of him struggling a little bit in math. But, overall is a good student... it seems as if all they care about is being a five-star school but not really about the students with issues.

I went to this school years ago under same principal and my own friends have kids here. I also work for district one. The teachers there are usually very compentent and care. The principal is not a great person. If your child is seen as a threat to maintaining high test scores forget getting help. She has a reputation for pushing hard for special needs children to be moved to other schools instead of welcoming them to the school. I feel that's hateful and her priorities are not children's education but school ratings. It's sad actually.
