We are from a much larger district. Our move was an out of state move and we were all nervous as we loved our old district. While Fletcher is a heck of a lot smaller, we absolutely love the small feel and closeness of the staff and students. Teachers I don't even know yet know my kids by name.

I think being in the town of Fletcher is great and wouldn't change that as the people are great but I will not be sending my children back to the school again. There are so many unethical issues from teachers using cell phones during class and testing, over crowded classrooms to transcripts from other schools not being transferred in state standards but how the school feels they should be. Opting to home school is my decision because Fletcher town is great but the schools lack in quality and without the moral to care for each student as an investment. It comes off as just a job for them to punch in and out each day.

My daughter has attended Fletcher Elementary for two years and has had an excellent experience. Her teachers and the principle truly care about the children. At her prior school she frequently came home in tears and didn't want to go, the past two years almost every day is "awesome". She has made the honor roll every semester.
