- Submitted by parent on October 28, 2013We are so glad to have found Drinking Gourd Elementary School for our kids. The school truly teaches a love of learning. They teach the fundamentals of reading, writing and math in an in depth way, so that when something clicks for a kid, you can see them soar. A positive environment, small classrooms, project based curriculum, and a focus on the kids emotional intelligence are just a few of the great things about the school. And my kids complain when they wake up in the morning when they realize that its a weekend, and they DON'T get to go to school.

Individually sculpted curriculum.ensures each child the opportunity to make progress in every area and subject. It is a community and many projects include the whole family. We feel blessed to have found it!
