I love Juniper Elementary so much. My child has had some challenges with emotional regulation and the support both my child and my family have received from the school is amazing. My child loves going to school and always has great things to say about his day. Definitely would recommend Juniper Elementary.

My daughter is in TK at Juniper Elementary and she LOVES everything about it! The school offers multiple opportunities for parents/guardians to get involved and they are so good at communication. All of the staff are loving and supportive. As a mom, It makes me so happy that every morning when we drop her off I know she's so well taken care of and respected. Yay Jaguars!!

This school is horrible I have one child attending and another who graduate from this school. My child attending is in kindergarten the relationship I have with this teacher is horrible she's judgmental rude fake and ignorant she does the The minimum of respecting me but does a little better by my wife I handle the home I raise and educate my children because I am a disabled veteran besides that I am better suited to do it then my wife but this teachers personal ideals and understanding of the status quo seem to make her feel to be in a position to judge the way me and my wife choose to work or home dynamic. All of the parents that go to the school are also very rude very ignorant it seems that the school is a dumping ground for the worst of humanity. Dropping off and picking up your children is a horrible experience here, again these parents are beyond rude selfish and inconsiderate. Most of the students that attend this school don't speak English so The curriculum is for lack of a better phrase "dummied down" to accommodate the greater need of the students that don't speak English we have had such a bad experience it's prompted us to move to the other side of the country forget about another part of town or the city I would just keep your children away from this school and petition that it be closed down because it doesn't help anybody if they close it down it would do a lot more for the kids to be forced to be sent to alternative schools in the area.

My son goes to the pre-k program at juniper elementary. My son went in as non-verbal last May and it's not even a year later and he's speaking in three to five word sentences. I'll be honest at first I was very skeptical about sending him to school.... period! Now, I have no doubts. He has the best teacher that is very dedicated to her work. The school has events for families such as the fall festival and a mini christmas concert they had. Both very nice!

I have 3 little girls that go to this wonderful school. Kinder,2nd and 4th grade. My little girls are very happy with their teachers, the school is very supportive in their learning in the classroom.

This school has some outstanding teachers. The kindergarden teachers are awsome and are always making class fun for our children. I wish parents could be more involved in the school, wheather ot was to help out in a class or in our designated parent room where we help teachers who dont have those parents coming in and helping them, or even in the PTA. The PTA raises money for mostly the events that are held at the school. The PTA is fairly new with new parents who are learning the ropes. For those parents who want to see more school involvement of funds for supplies and such, I urge you to step up and join the PTA and help get the word out that the PTA is not just an "event" planner.

I have 2 kids in this school & compare to my nieces that go to another escondido elementary I can see the huge difference. My kids homework is a joke they get treated as if they were mentally incapable of more. Some of the Teachers are wonderful & some are just evil to students, especially a kindergarten teacher my son had she was miserable and therefore treated the kids horribly. One thing tht bothers me is all the time I see the school selling & making money out of kids & parents & to say the truth I don't see much help out of this school, about 2 years ago my daughter came home with a notice of no more journal homework because supposedly they had no money to buy paper so kids would not bring journal homework. where is all that money going to. I wish I could change my kids from this school but it would be so hard to get to another being that we walk.

I feel obligated to write this review because someone has to do justice to this school. All the teachers I've known are great. Mercedes, parent counselor is the best at helping and trying to involve parents in their children education. We fail sometimes because we have to work but , generally speaking, I see effort from all the parts. My son was in a GATE program since 3d grade in this school, now he is in high school and is doing very well thanks to all he learned at this school. Now my daughter is in second grade and was reclassified as an English Proficient. I'm Hispanic and the support we have had at this school is outstanding. A school is not only staff and teachers a school is a place where all, staff, teachers, parents and children work together. Please don't put one star only because you don't have a place to park your car or because children behave like children.

Did anyone notice that Juniper's API went up +51 points. That is the highest in the whole district. Why hasn't Juniper received any recognition for this huge accomplishment. My children attend this school and they have some of the best teachers in the district working at Juniper. I feel that they are getting an excellent education and they are also learning how to develop their character.

As a long time teacher at Juniper, I know that our teachers are extremely dedicated and truly want success for EVERY student. The challenges that confront our students on a daily basis are overwhelming. These challenges are brought to the classroom each and every day. Yet, students work hard and succeed in spite of these obstacles. We appreciate any community support that you are willing to contribute.

I am more than unhappy with this school. I have a child with special needs and just to get enrolled has been a nightmare not to mention that the front office just plainly states that they are not apart of that so they have no information for me and cant answer any of my questions. They have made this whole experience very unpleasant.
