We have had a great experience at Cherry Hill. Students are respectful and do not fear going to school. Coming from an urban school in an extremely liberal school system- Cecil county is a breath of fresh air. Keep fighting for our kids and keep out all of the negative racist propaganda that is creeping into the school systems. Teach our kids to respect our country and those that have come before them.

This has been the WORST experience I have ever experienced. My child felt belittled, discouraged and not listened to. As a parent my job is to build confidence and character so that he may be successful in the future this school did the complete opposite and discouraged him made him feel that nothing he did was enough. We had to fight for his grades on numerous occasions! I do not recommend the school to anyone who is trying to build their child !

I have my second child getting ready to graduation and I will be happy to have them out of Cherry Hill. In general contact with the teachers is difficult. I have had to call the principal several times when teachers would not respond to me. Also there have been several instances when I should have received a call and I did not, for example my son received a day of in school suspension and I found out from him, I did not receive a call or any type of letter from the school. Power school is not updated frequently and I have compliance about this multiple times, what is the point of an online grading system is the teachers take 30 days to update grades. In general I feel there is a lack of concern for students and I am not sure if its just the teachers/admin or possibly that there is too many students. On a side note I have been extremely satisfied with the Kenmore elementary and also now the Rising Sun High School and have given both exceptional ratings.
