    Most of the teachers that we have had had are great, but not all. And there is terrible communication between staff and parents. Most often than not, emails are ignored and questions never get answered.

    I find this school to be severely lacking. They do not challenge smart children nor do they create an atmosphere that is conducive to promoting a love of learning. Most of the teachers seem to disinterested in teaching all together. In hindsight, I would go above and beyond to keep my child out of Elkton schools.

    My son is special needs and every year I have to explain this to the teachers. He has an IEP and is on 504 plan but I really don't think that the teachers read it. He does not even know how to ask for help and is punished basically for not knowing things. The teachers are not helpful at all and I think the best thing for me to do is home school my son

    We have two children that attend Cecil Manor (1st grade and kindergarten). We have been very happy with both of my children's teachers. They both love the school and staff. We feel very comfortable with the education my children are receiving at Cecil Manor.
