I used to love going to school here until this past year. Our principal was fired without noticed and reach schools took over. We as students were threatened with being expelled if we didn’t say nice things about them. We were interrogated by the administration and acted every school day. The targeted girls and would talk to them alone trying to make them say how their class was feeling and if they had been at any meetings that were against reach. We were told that this was Gods plan and we should come between that. We were told to shut our mouths and deal with it. I have since left but I came home crying everyday because of something they had done.

Unfortunately the direction of this school changed this year. The previous principal was caring towards his students and their parents. New principal is arrogrant, disrespectful, and non tolerate for those students who have learning disabilities. He treated myself and child with such ignorance that we pulled our child from the school. He is nothing but a bully that has let his new title go to head.

My daughter has been at TSCA all through middle school and getting ready to start high school. She is a happy kid. Teachers are engaged with the students. And her curriculum is in alignment with her future goals.

Three of our boys are/have been in TSCA , the eldest of the three graduated this past May . The younger two are in elementary school. Overall we have been very pleased with our experience here. The teaching quality generally has been excellent with a well rounded , caring teaching staff. Godly character is certainly taught ,encouraged and rewarded here. I believe all teaching staff are practicing Christians though not all students are. The love these teachers have for their kids is evident in each interaction. These people are real. The administration is excellent. Most days my little guys come home excited to share something new they learned in school that day. GRACE is the word. No school is perfect. Thank You TSCA.

My two sons are new to the school and finished their first year. This year I am enrolling my third son. Tristate has very good academics, great sports, excellent Christian role models, and challenging, yet loving teachers. The office staff is kind. They have many extracurricular activities. The administration is excellent. Very thankful for this academy.

I am delighted she attends this school. They are attentive, they are alert to issues, and they care about the children. I believe their academics are far ahead of other Christian schools I am familiar with and they challenge. I love the Bible teaching and the children's participation. They offer extracirricular activities that are suitable for all ages.

We have three children who have attended ECA for twelve years. We truly love it's many caring teachers and consider it an extremely safe atmosphere for our children. One thing any prospective family should know is that the school is NOT accredited by the Academy of Christian Schools. Administration and staff continue to delay the date of that completion for over seven years. Although this isn't entirely relevant to our level of satisfaction, it causes us to often re-evaluate the quality of the education we are getting. When our oldest child (Honor student) transfered to Elkton High School, many of the credits from ECA did not transfer. She needed to complete countless exams and extra classes and has spent over a year in classes and still not caught up to her grade level. We have invested over 100K in private school education at ECA and all three of our children are college bound. My review is not meant in any way to defame the truly loving staff and some excellent teachers, but, to encourage parents to ask questions, and hold the staff at ECA accountable for more than just the student's spiritual needs.

Our children have attended ECA for 8 years and we have seen many changes and additions of several professionally qualified staff members who emphasize and exemplify a Christ centered education and life. Coming from Tome School, we were most refreshed with ECA's intolerance for fiscal statusing of students. From the wealthy to the humble..all children are rightfully treated with equal respect and love. Academically speaking, we were also satisfied with most of the educators' willingness to cater to each of our three students' respective needs. All teachers were responsive to any of my concerns and most sought to resolve situations with a positive outcome. School security is primo. Student to teacher ratio is ideal and overall environment is one that emphasizes love and nurturing of the student . If you are looking for a true Christian School with a solid Bible based education at a reasonable price, seriously consider ECA.
