My son attended Kindergarten and is half way through first grade. Teachers are awesome and Miss Q, the principal, is fantastic. So far, very pleased with Zehnder.

I would recommend this school, because my child always comes home happy, seeing her happy also makes me happy, although they do not require family engagement, I still love the parent picnics all those stuff, hope this helped you! :)

This school has really taken a turn for the worst. Staff moral is down because current admin is nothing but a face. She is out during arrival and dismissal, and yard duty(?) but that's about it. My child says she's only been in the chain twice this year, to give out awards. Mrs. Murphy was always in the classroom, giving feedback to her staff, engaging students, and focused on the needs of all. The current admin is such a parent pleaser, and it is obvious that is how the school is run. Teachers are burnt out, and look miserable. Heck, there are days that teachers are not even out to cross our kids in the crosswalk. It's a shame that the district let Mrs. Murphy open such a strong school, just to leave it to someone with little experience and clearly not able to run a school of this magnitude. Thankfully, Miwok opens soon! In the meantime, I hope EDUSG reads these. They need to see the truth of what's happening at Zehnder.

When Ms. Murphy was the principal, Zehnder Ranch Elementary used to be a student-centered school and the pride of the neighborhood. Unfortunately, for the past two years, it became one of the worst schools in the area. Bullying, subpar teachers, favoritism, and a principal controlled by a small group of parents are just a few of the school's characteristics nowadays. If you really care about your children, please stay away from this school.

There is one kindergarten teacher who in my opinion should not be teaching at all and especially not such young kids. I have experienced this teacher to be not interested in hearing all sides, not caring about feelings of others and doesn't seem to have devotion to anything more than her dreams of being a tech teacher influencer. Her influencer programs are boring and I don't think accurate. I feel like She has a bully demeanor and parents should get a 100% voice in which teacher their children get.

Staff told us that my little brother was lying when a classmate of his kicked his leg. His 6th grade teacher said a negative comment on a past student in front of his little brother.

10/10 this rating is only because of my experience with my sons teacher. Mrs Deborah Abrams. She is one in a millions with all her love affection care and one on one experience with each and individual student. All the effort and hard work she puts in for each student to be a better human bein and a great student is remarkable. Blessed to have her as my sons teacher.

Excellent! A lot of students excelling, very strong emphasis on reading and leadership. Offers a lot of extracurricular opportunities, quick to resolve bullying issues
