This school has been a dream come true for my son! HE has ADHD and the teachers, faculty, and staff have worked patiently with him as he has moved along through the grades and prepared him for middle school. They have given him the accommodations he needs while not coddling him or making him stand out in the classroom. He has exceeded my expectations academically, especially in math, made wonderful friends, felt at home, and has grown in such leaps and bounds - I have no doubt he will adjust well to WWMS once he gets his bearings. Today I had the opportunity to meet with both of his teachers, the GC, and the GC for middle school to make a plan that will help him transition and thrive. They asked pointed questions about his learning style, his strengths, and his struggles. While I had reservations moving him to such a big school next year, I know this will be a great learning and growth opportunity for him. I am so lucky he got to be a student at MPES!

I learned nothing at menlo, the teachers were so bad and mean they made me cry. I used to go to woodbrook and they thought 10x better than menlo. Special educations students were all over the school not being taken care of. There was literally no pto in the school. I felt very unsafe with my time being at menlo. WOODBROOK IS BETTER!

This is a Blue Ribbon School, with a balance of academics and overall student well being!

My sons have had an incredible experience at their school. All of their teachers have been incredibly hands on and communicative at home, programs are in place to get children, parents, and the community involved with the school and I have seen them grow so much into little young men!

This school is fantastic. A small school with a focus on community. Yes, the "All Purpose" room serves as the gym, auditorium, and cafeteria. But they make it work. The teachers are phenomonal. The principal has a cheery demeanor and is more than willing to meet with you and openly discuss any issues you come across. There are plenty of programs available for your child to be involved in. The PTO is very active. The only downside I have found so far is that there isn't much done when there are consistently disruptive kids. But I understand that is a tricky situation.

I am so pleased with Menlo Park Elementary! The school is so crisp and clean making for a wonderful learning environment. They recently added a new gym and art facility and there are two playgrounds. My son's teacher is very involved with the parents and we are kept informed with an app - Bloomz. She talks to the children like they are little adults which I think is great because it gives them a sense of responsibility and a reminder they are out of pre-k/k.

Good school, some of the teachers are fantastic. Mrs. Maurer, Mrs. Brady, Ms. D'Aronzo, Mrs. Adams (the best), Mrs. Jensen and Mrs. Kregelow were some of our teachers and they were fantastic. The new secretary (not Chris) is sometimes rude and can do with some front-desk training. Academics are good.

Fantastic school. teachers are absolutely good and always approachable. quality of teaching is of high quality and my kid just loves to go to school. we are lucky to have Dr. Stephanie Moretti , Ms. Diane Taylor and Ms. Briana Thompson as her teachers so far. I have seen tremendous improvement in overall communication and policies under leadership of Mr. Michael Duggan and Mrs. Donna Abatemarco. its a delight to see how Mr. Duggan and Mrs Abatemarco communicate with kids and conduct various events.

We had an issue with a student bullying our child here. Our child was nervous to keep going to school here. When we informed our child's teacher, she mishandled the situation by telling our kid to simply ignore the bullying. The principal took weeks to address the matter or even acknowledge that she understood there was a problem. That principal has since been replaced by a new principal. I also found the parent involvement in this school to be low. There is little sense of community. One major holiday assembly was canceled because of a lack of parent interest. The way students are dismissed at the end of the school day, especially the kindergartners, is unsafe. The children are allowed to leave the building with little supervision as to whom they are going with. Also, it took several parent complaints to the office for the teachers to open the door a minute early in the snow and heavy rain, even when the kids were huddled and cold right outside of the teachers' line of sight. We were so unhappy with this school that we placed our children elsewhere.

I am so proud that my kids (currently in 2nd and 5th grade) are part of the Menlo Park Family. The Principal and the teachers take extra efforts in helping the kids grow in a safe and nurtured environment. The new teachers coming on board are very tech savvy and it will ultimately help the kids in the long run.
