First let me say for the most part all the kids are well taken care of. If people only knew how staff have spoken to/about the kids when mom,or upper management is not around. Maybe workshops on dealing/discipline kids. Rather the staff has been there 10 years or 10 weeks you can always tell who is not happy. Frankly those people should go if they haven't already. Professional 101 is needed. The cattiness was over board. Adults there should mind their business and focus on the kids. Glad I got out when I did. If I hit the lottery I would write a tell all. Future reviews to come!!

My son started with the infant room just a few short weeks ago. This is my 3rd child at the school. I would not trust anyone else with my baby more than Ms. Debbie. I lean on her for everything. She's so helpful and understanding. The kids love her -- you just see it in their eyes when you drop them off in her care. The other ladies are also equally as wonderful. It's a great group of ladies in the infant room. The Waddler Class is also great. Ms. Ann and Ms. Terri are so sweet. Once they leave the Waddlers, they go on to the Toddler Class. Ms. Maria is just wonderful. She's sweet and loving and the kids also adore her. Ms. Erin is the new Kindergarten teacher. My child is brilliant because of her. Far exceeded my expectations for a full-time kindergarten class. She's creative and one of the most talented teachers you will ever meet.

When I was expecting my first child, I went searching for a daycare since I was going to return to work. When I found KWJ, I was so happy. My son started in the infant room when he was 4 months old and I absolutely LOVE Ms. Deb. She has made our daycare experience the best it can be! My son loves her and all the other teachers in the class. I am extremely upset by the review below about her as it is completely untrue. She is the most caring and loving teacher and exactly who I want to be with my son when I cannot be there. Up until the last day of class in the infant room, my son would open his arms to Ms. Deb when we walked in and wave bye-bye to me each morning. I would recommend the infant class at KWJ to anyone who needs infant care.

My baby is in the infant room. We are new to the school and relieved to have found such caring and wonderful woman to watch over and love my son as if he were their own. The head teacher has been a blessing. She's so very helpful, understanding and motherly. I'm upset to see the review below as it just doesn't fit the nature of the woman that I drop my child off with every day. I can't imagine that this review was written by a parent - this had to have been written by a disgruntled former side who was probably reprimanded for not living up to the standards that is expected of this room. I would recommend the infant room to any new parent - ms. Debbie is a pretty amazing woman and one amazing caregiver.

The head teacher in the infant room is a megalomaniac. The other teachers and assistants are very nice, patient, and give each child the attention they deserve. The head teacher, however, tends to be rude, loud and unable to handle even minor conflict with any sort of tact of subtlety. She needs to be reminded that the parents pay for this service, they are not doing us a favor. We are their client, and should be treated as such. Instead, parents are disrespected, yelled at, and told by her what she thinks is best for your child, rather than respecting the parents' right and obligation to make decisions on how best to care for their own child.

My children just love KWJCCC. From 3 months to 2 years everyday is spend in a loving, nurturing and safe environment. Teachers been there for a long time devoting their lives in taking care of our children. It's a great institution.

Keith Wold Johnson is a wonderful place. My daughter, she's 20 months old, is learning so much and having a great time! She loves the teachers and the other children. She's using the sign language she was taught everyday, and surprizes me with new words and good behavior she is learning while attending. I am very comfortable leaving my children in the care of these excellent caretakers and teachers. All the teachers and their aides always show great care, love and respect towards all of the students. The environment is very safe and very clean. Whenever there are any issues, they are resolved immediately (as no one place is perfect!) I've never had a complaint or a problem here. The teachers and other staff are all very nice and listen to everything I say or ask. I will be sending all of my children here with no compliants or problems. Other places could benefit from learning how this curriculum is implemented.

In the Keith Wold Johnson Child Care Center the entire staff is committed to meeting and nurturing children's needs. The children are encourage to strive for excellence. Our 3 month old and 19 month old loves it here. The 19 month old can't wait to come here, anytime you say school, she's ready to go with a big smile. At the recent back to school night, the staff shared with us how they implement high scope program so the children learn to strive for excelelnce.

I could not disagree more with the rating below. My daughter is in the Infant program and the cribs are fairly new. They are spaced appropriately and they are extremely safe. The environment is extremely clean. The head teacher is fantastic and the assistant teachers are also wonderful. The head teacher is knowledgeable in every aspect of BABY. The changing center is organized and extremely well kept. The toys are all mostly new and very clean. The bouncers are all new. She has many activities that engage the children. The children are never kept in the same position for too long as they move around the room engaging them in various activities throughout the day. The toys are cleaned every night and the room is sanitized each and every night. The children are so loved and so nurtured by all of the teachers who just so happen to all be mothers and grandmothers as well. My infant is well taken care of and I know that she is safe and I feel good dropping her off each and every day for 8 hours each day. It made me so sad to see a disgruntled person writing such negative comments about this school. The school, the teachers and the staff are all very professional.

my daughter is in kindergarten here. she started at 6 mo of age. The infant, toddler and preschool programs are fine, she received good care although the toys are sparse and most have no batteries. The preschool teacher was ok but made inappropriate comments such as "that child lies a lot" and racial inferences toward the indian children which is upsetting. My daugher is not writing appropriately they use letter worbooks to practice writing but are not filled out appropriately (many blank spaces). the teacher is frazzled and disorganized. we have done three homework assignments have not gotten one back graded yet. they have not introduced sight words for reading and are relying instead on "sounding it out". the students in class are volatile kicking chairs & yelling. my daughter is afraid, cries each morning which is new. she doesn't want to stay another day. I am taking her out, and two other parents have already done so. also most children are those of employees who get a deep discount from the community rate so they have a vested interest in the excellent reviews. also they do have some new toys because myself and other parents have DONATEd them

My Grandson attends this fantastic school. He receives quality care and attention from the staff there. He is now 22 months old and has been there since 5 months old. He is learning and developing in a nurturing environment. He loves to "go to school"!

look at the dates of the good reviews; they are not current. I agree the school is old and dreary. equipment (including cribs and changing rooms) is old and rickety. the toys are boring and mostly broken. the teachers are not engaging or interested in their jobs except for Ms. Sullivan and Ms. Finnegan. there aren't many extracurricular programs offered no language, music or even physical ed courses.

school has broken toys, not enough toys for the amount of children, multiple safety hazards (my child sustained a large injury before I pulled him out that resulted in permanent scarring), teachers are either very old or brand new out of school. the teachers are disgruntled it shows, some are downright lazy. preschool doesn't teach effectively-children do not learn proper writing techniques. the school in general is old and dreary and one classroom is behind a stage! the other is in half a gymnasium which is cold in winter and hot in summer. the summer program is nonexistent has 8 "water days" which is basically turning on a hose and letting kids run through it.
