The school teachers are overwhelmed with too many students per teacher. The curriculum is slightly below that of other districts. The main issue with the school is that bullying incidents are not taken seriously with the councilor providing little or no support. There is no monitoring in place to prevent incidents from happening. The bullying often involves physical abuse which is then dealt with a warning or suspension. Our experience has been bobas at this school and I had to switch my child to a private institution because I was worried about the culture at the school.

I am a parent to one of the student in this school. Hope they remove 3D sculpting subject from the syllabus. One of the time waste and not useful subject. Better, they can give a better choice to the student. Better, they can keep the subject as required.

The school is really nice and clean. They care about kids and would do anything for them. I am currently attending Jams and it is amazing. The teachers try to make school fun like there are some days when we have no homework like today. Today was lucky 26 so no homework for the whole school! The teachers are constantly trying to teach us to respect others and to be kind. I love this school so much!

Overall, I would rate my experience at this school as good. Their academics are challenging enough to get students ready for high school but easy enough for the kid to be a well-rounded, involved kids. It's a great enviornment for students as the schools promotes a great character and being involved with the community. Coming out of this school, most students, including myself, are well rounded invidiuals who are able to balance school extracurriculars, outside activities, and personal life very easily. Not only does this school challenge middle schoolers to try their best, but makes the transition from middle school to high school much easier.

I would rate is as Good as the academics are strong and teachers ensure they give us an appropriate amount of learning each day, along with homework and classwork.

great school in a great community, it cannot get better than this. North Edison is a affluent neighborhood full of wealthy individuals. School dresses you for success. Classes are higher leveled and technologically advanced. Kids grow up with others with high morale and character taught from their parents work ethic and the schools teachers

The principal is a bully and has chased a lot of the good teachers to other schools and districts. The moral at the school is low among the staff. The PTO is dysfunction and does nothing for the students. If you are going to send your child to this school make sure that you stay active or you will regret it.

John Adams Middle School is an extremely academic-centralized school, with only about 1/80 students participating in dances and other fundraising events. Hoops for Heart and bake sales always make money, though. The teachers at JAMS are varied. Some, the best, are the greatest people. 2 current teachers are in the armed forces. One of them sent out a notice at Christmas time, asking for all money spent on gifts to him to instead be donated to charity, since he had all he needed. Others are absolutely out of their minds. Anyone who went/goes to JAMS knows what I'm talking about. JAMS is also rivals with Woodrow Wilson. Overall, John Adams is a great middle school.

My child went there from 7th grade to 8th grade. She absolutely loved it.. She mad so many friends that will last her a lifetime. The teachers were always there for her and had excellent teaching skills. Her grades went up after I put her in public school. The diversity of the school is great as well. The activities and opportunities available to the kids are outstanding. My daughter did not want to leave John Adams and move on to high school. She loved every moment of her middle school experience. I as a parent am happy too!

Very very good. Teachers are very knowledgable and students are disciplined in the right amounts. Very impressed with the overall quality of instruction.

So far I am impressed with the school and the academics. I know North Edison is a very competitive district, so I am waiting to see how much help is given to those falling behind. The student body itself is such that drives one to achieve. It's not an easy school by any means. The teachers are well aware of the student body abilities and seem to teach to the upper crust more. I looke at this as a positive challenge. Let's see!
