Excellent school. Wonderful caring and professional staff. Daughter has learned so much in this school and strives to be her very best on a daily basis. The teachers and staff have created a caring and supportive environment for their students.

James Monroe school is wonderful. The best of the best. The building is nicer than most colleges and the teachers, principal and assistant principal and all the staff are beyond excellent. They all go above and beyond each day. They all show each and every child patience, love and compassion.

The secretaries and Principal are bullies, my child and I were treated differently, even when We were told to pick up our children I was questioned and followed by the secretary and I was told: I would not be able to pick up MY child. I'm looking to file a class action lawsuit.

My overall experience from grade one to grade 5 was great. I am surprised this school has not got 10 on 10 ranking. I dont see much reviews here. That might be the reason it has lower rank. The school has renovated and entirely new building from past two years. The gym, the classrooms, whole building has centralized AC. The new Principal is very friendly and knowledgeable. All the teachers are great. I would like to thank Mrs. Pontorioro, Mrs. Bell, Mrs. Fuentes, , Mrs. Milton, Mr. Fernandes, Mrs. Ford, Mrs. Riley of Gifted and Talented program , Mr. Piccioli for guiding students in orchestra and all other teachers and also the previous Principal Mrs. Zapoticzny

We are glad to be leaving the district. Our child has gone here for several years, and as a minority in the school, has been treated differently even though I have been very involved with the school and PTO activities.

Horrible school...they spoiled my child's entire year.My child got an old teacher this year who was neither competent to teach, nor she was interested in teaching either..whole year she just gave homework without teaching anything in the class.Principal is very hard to approach, as the secretaries who are on the phone line they never allow you to reach the principal. Very disappointed with the school, system and teacher.the teacher demotivated and degraded my child.Old teachers like her should be simply thrown out of the system. Better beware of James monroe elementary....

worst school with worst teachers.......trying to get in touch with principal since last many days....due to teachers not taking care of the curriculum in grade 5 , but to no avail. If the principal of this school is reading this then he must note that the teachers in grade 5 are not doing their job.they are skipping curriculum...which may spoil a childs future or career.
