My both boys studied in HHMS and love it. Principal is awesome and always there to address concerns if any. Overall Edison curriculum is aggressive. Board of Edison is same and curriculum is same whether in South Edison or North Edison.

Horrible school system, they have a bullying Issue that needs to be addressed. My son cries every day because he doesn’t want to go there, he is really struggling and he shouldn’t be.

In this school teachers really pay attention to what you have to say and help you when you need help. The teachers' teachings are really effective on the students and help them become better in that specific area. Bullying is well treated in this school, it is barely a problem here. Homework here may seem like a lot but the teachers give you a good amount of time to finish. This is a really fun school and I am grateful for going here.

I have recently graduated from this school, and wish to provide a critical and honestly helpful review of this school. By topic, here is an overview. The school, and the township curriculum has changed a lot, with the dynamics of the school structure having been changed. The new principal is extremely helpful, but some of the curriculum changes have been detrimental. This aside, school wise, there is a new level system for math and a stricter English curriculum, though standards are somewhat low. Science instruction, especially for key common subjects, involved in standardized testing, is lacking, with the new institution of "modern" science books, rather than the traditional informative textbooks. Math standards are now up to par with the rest of the country, and students must now work to excel. Many teachers from my years here have been reassigned to different grades and subjects, resulting in a lack of expertise, and a few teachers, namely new ones, are unqualified for their occupations. The key to success here is getting involved, however. There are many opppotunities to excel, and academics wise, is not a bad school if you are in a high (honors) level classes. otherwise, no

We are only in our first quarter at HHMS, but so far so good. It's a good school with above-average academics, well-balanced demographics, and good school spirit. The teachers are very good. The principal is impressive. My only complaint would be some of the office staff and other staff who are not pleasant or helpful. The school is clean and attractive inside. Lot's of club offerings as well. Have not heard of or seen any discipline issues. Advanced courses are offered for gifted students.

I go to HHMS and it's an interesting place and a great environment to learn in. The teacher's are nice for the most part. I don't really have a mean teacher. They pay attention to you, they don't just give you work and then disregard you. Everyone's basically friendly. There are lots of clubs, but not as many as I'd like. The clubs help you learn responsibility. We have lots of activities (like dances) too. I think it's a really good all around school, so you should totally send your kid here - he or she will grow up fine.
