Administration is horrible. The teachers are great. Principal does not take care of behavior problems or bullying. Instead of talking to teachers about an issue, or five them a chance to talk about what is going on, she sides with the parents instead of backing up her teachers.

The Principal needs to learn how to address students, in addition to parents. Grabbing a child by the arm arm and jerking him into a hallway, without identifying herself to an adult, is UNACCEPTABLE!

i have no problem with this school my daughter teacher is wonderful she has learned so much more in these year....i was worried in the beginning cause she comes from private school but i had not problem at all there....

Maybe the others were paid to highly rate this school, but they are not being honest. If looked, wholly, and critiqued even in the kindest light, the only saving grace of Eagle Lake Elementary is the Principal, but that's about where it ends. The teachers are inadequate and seemingly uneducated themselves. My son complained that one teacher in particular would sit on her cell phone DURING CLASS (subject matter not at all related to work/school). Other teachers would send home graded papers and reports which had undeniably WRONG information, but checked off and approved as being correct (I want my child to have good grades, but not to be mislead in thinking the wrong things are right). There were nice folks in the office working there, but as far as what your child will get out of this school? It wasn't promising for my son who had gone there since he was five, with every year, hoping that his next teacher would be better, and wanting to believe the school wasn't as low-graded as I've read (they're a C-rated school).
