This is the worst school in the entire county. No joke. First, it is NOT worth almost paying 20 thousand dollars for a facility that looks like a dump. The trees are half rotting, and the bathrooms are just shameful. The cost of lunch is NOT included in the tuition either, and it costs 6.50 for a plate of 4 sad looking chicken tenders and cold fries. If you want any decent food, expect to pay 10 bucks every day. The students were super rude. They are rich and snotty, and think they are better than everyone else. They are very racist, and very often make racist remarks about African-Americans. They also bully kids with disabilities, like autism. These kids are awful and I wish I could take back every penny I paid to go here. There is a social hierarchy there, and if you aren’t liked, you will be ostracized by all of your peers. I came to this school thinking it was going to be better, considering the high cost, but just go to public school where kids actually act normal. This school made my life miserable for the time I was there and I don’t want anyone to suffer through that. Do not enroll your kids here.

My experience at All Saints Academy was... subpar. The teachers, for the most part, were great. However, the turnover rate is horrible. An absurd amount of the teaching staff left last year, and the staff that stayed only stayed because their kids attend the school. The school played musical chairs with the teachers in a poor attempt to cover each subject area, which disrupted and diminished the learning experience. Some new hires had absolutely no idea what they were doing, others just didn't care. However, I have to give credit where it's due. Some of the teachers are great at their jobs, and they know what they're talking about. Only some, not all. The administrators were hard to work with, they are stubborn, rude, and not accommodating to any requests made of them. The students are exactly what you think of when you think of a private school. Most are wealthy and snobby, with a lack of real-world experience. Socially, they are very immature, unfriendly, and odd. They are unaccepting of different types of people, and there was a shocking amount of racism and ableism from the student body. Many students with mental disabilities were picked on and treated poorly by the rest of the student population. Despite these obvious issues, no action was taken by the faculty to fix them. No suspensions, referrals, detentions, nothing was done about the bullying. I suspect this is because they want the tuition money.Overall, I do not miss this place, I am very glad to have graduated and moved on with my life. Would I recommend sending your children here? No. There are plenty of better alternatives, like Mckeel Academy, a free charter school in Lakeland, Winter Haven Christian, a religious private school in Winter Haven, or Lakeland Christian School, also located in Lakeland. The tuition prices are cheaper, and the overall experience is much better.

The school has excellent facilities and puts on a good show for the tour. The reality is different once you sign the contract. Communication is poor, and they are unapologetic about it. Once you are on the hook, you will be treated as a subject instead of like a customer. Some of the teachers are outstanding, most are just there to get tuition breaks for their own kids. The school also has a major issue with faculty retention. Expect multiple teachers per subject each school year. One of my child's subjects went through 3 teachers in a single semester. Employee turnover is an excellent way to judge the health of an organization and All Saints fails that test.Overall the school is marginally better than what is available from Polk County. Considering how high their tuition rates are, it is not good value for the money.

My daughter absolutely loves ASA. She has amazing teachers that helped her get a 4 on her first AP test last year. The school community feels like family. The personal attention and kindnesses from the staff to the students are unmatched from any school I have ever seen. I highly recommend parents taking a tour of this school to see for themselves.

Best school in Polk County. Personalized instruction, excellent academic and athletic opportunities, impressive placement for graduating seniors attending top colleges. This is a school where your child's name is known.

Before committing your finances to ASA, ask to see their test scores for the past several years. Test scores are not the only factor in choosing a school, but standardize test do allow you to determine how a school is doing as compared to other schools, especially when looking at SAT, PSAT and AP exams. There is a reason these scores are not published on their website.

Amazingly energetic, empathic, and dedicated faculty; beautiful facilities; and a familial atmosphere--this school is on the leading edge of pedagogical innovation and student learning.

One good piece of information as one school year ends and another is on the horizon is to review the unsolicited responses from families new to the school. I am pleased that in the past few weeks, those e-mails, phone calls, and notes have been entirely affirming and have numbered higher than ever before. It is an exciting time to be part of this forward-focused family of learners.

I completely agree with the last post. ASA has been great for my driven, super organized son. As a 9thgrader he takes only AP and Lyceum advanced courses. He doesn t always love all of the homework he gets or the dress code (I think it's great), but he loves his classes and especially his teachers. However, I also have a somewhat less motivated younger son with some learning challenges Super bright, but unbelievably disorganized the kind of kid who never remembered his homework assignment and if he actually did remember to do it, he would usually leave it at home on the kitchen table and not turn it in. ASA s learning support center has been a Godsend for him and allows me to be much less of a nag. He s not exactly a type A student now, but they sure keep him on track. Much less stress!

ASA opened this year with 140 new students joining our "family" and it is wonderful to see old and new students making friends, working together on projects, laughing at lunch. This is a fantastic school with dedicated teachers who work hard to ensure that our students succeed. That's why 100% of our graduates get accepted to college.

3.1 million dollars offered to the graduating class of less than 50 students speaks well of students and the preparation they received at All Saints Academy. Congratulations, alumnae/i ---well deserved.

I would encourage families looking for the best education for their children to examine the college acceptance and matriculation lists of each school they consider. You will find that ASA's is unmatched. This factual information is a strong indicator of academic excellence and the school's reputation in competitive college circles, while also reflecting student caliber, the quality of the college advising program, and the development of the "whole child"--beyond just the classroom. Here, it's "cool" to be smart, but our students do a lot more than study--which makes them not only highly successful, but happy. They know they are both cared for and truly challenged to become their best selves. Sites like "greatschools.org" are very helpful, but no replacement for visiting and making your own decision; parents know the right school for their children when they see it. Also, to correct a former post: enrollment is not declining--it is actually growing this year, despite a tuition increase, because the value of the full program and experience is so strong.

Great school, great faculty. Kids go to great colleges and do very well at college. That's the point of a college preparatory school, right? All Saints Academy does exactly what it says---prepares kids extremely well for college! It is a fantastic school.

All Saints Academy is declining, enrollment is at a all time because parents are catching on.The Board Members need to take action. My kids were 2 years behind in Math and READING.I was so mad that I didn't catch on sooner.I was encouraged to hire a $50 an hour tutor that is conveniently located on the property....My children were bullied so badly, and nothing was ever done. They would tell their teachers, and they would tell my son "Stop tattling"......I was outraged to learn that the middle and upper school lockers have so many bugs ,and my daughter was always bitten.DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE before wasting your money,I feel like I let my children down. They are so much happier now,and they see the "Real World",given real life situations!!!!

ASA is a great school as long as you have low expectations on what a good education is and you more money than you know what to do with. My son has not received a great education at ASA. He has been with a private tutor, at a additional cost to me,for the past 5yrs. I decided to have him tested and what I found out was the worst news a parent could receive. My son was two years beyond in reading and math skills. When I took that information to the school I was told that the test was wrong and probably I need I hold him back a year. I started to take another hard look at ASA and I found out they have more administrators than other private and public schools. So in order to pay their paychecks the school has to increase the money they receive. How do the do that? By telling parents your children needs a tutor and ask for more money. In my opinion the school needs to trim the "fat" and take that money and invested it in the academics and not athletics. Ask these questions why are so many empty classrooms and so many offices, why has enrollment been decreasing from the past 5yrs, why are there so many tutors and why are so many students with a tutor.

All Saints Academy is by far the best educational option in Polk County. My son has been a student at All Saints Academy for six years and continues to be challenged beyond what the public school system ever offered him. His friends in the public school are not nearly as advanced as he is. The teachers are top-notch and the leadership is strong and supportive. There is a new energy to the school and it will continue to lead in academics and sports. I would give this school a second look; you will not be disappointed.

I disagree with the past two postings. This school is exceptional! The teachers and administrators are completely committed to excellence, and compared to other public and private schools in the area, the academics are much more challenging. I have been completely satisfied with my child's achievement since switching from a local public school. I did do my homework, and hands down, ASA is by far the best selection for my family.
