My daughter is in her 2nd year at NWH & the differences between last year and this year are extreme. The learning experience is based completely on the teacher & their ideals. Last year there was lots of homework & this year there is none. Last year, there was a ton of teacher/parent communication, this year not so much. I feel disconnected from my child's progress & her grades have been all over the place. Crossing my fingers for next year!

Do not send your children here!! This has to be one of the worst schools out there. My son who is now in 1st grade was being mistreated by his kindergarten teacher last year because he has ADHD and has trouble focusing from time to time. This kindergarten teacher is also very rude and should not be teaching in my opinion. She does not love her job and she makes that very obvious. The staff in the office is also rude. The principal doesn't even take the time to greet the parents. I am considering moving to Texas as well. They have much better programs there and have much better reviews. My son is already saying he doesn't like school and he is only in first grade. So if anyone is considering putting their children in NWH, I highly suggest that you do not.

This school moves ENTIRELY too fast. Even the staff will be the first to admit that the classes are forced to cover the material much too quickly, and for those students, like my twins for instance, who can't keep up or require extra attention, they are left behind and labeled a hinderance to classroom productivity. This school is a machine. My son was one of those little parts that required a little extra attention because of his eye stigmatism and his acute autism (diagnosed). The staff at NWH refused to work with him, I found he was being sent to the detention room rather frequently and not for behavioral issues either....it was because he worked too slowly. Be cautious about this school for your child. They maintain their ratings by weeding out students who can't keep up and any uproar from parents will be met with an arrogant triage of school officials who will patiently tell you why you're stupid for having concern about the mistreatment of your children. Also, only 15 minutes of recess and 7 hours of rapid coursework with harsh consequences for failure is arguably the quickest route to killing a young person's childhood experience. I'm glad I moved to another school.

Don't send your kids here. They will be burnt out before they even begin. Staff is very unhelpful and complacent.
