My kids are in 1st and 3rd. My kids 1st grade teacher is amazing My child is learning so much compared to other when she was in 1st. She didn't learn half that my other is. She had co teachers which was the worst to have for that grade. My kid has a IEP and they don't work hard enough with my child. My child tells me all the time that the teacher isn't nice when she doesn't know the answer. 2rd grade was amazing my child had Mrs. Altherr talk about a teacher who really cares about her students. She worked extra hard to make sure my child was understanding what was being taught . As for the vice principle she needs to go she is not fit for elementary schools she needs to be at a high school level. She is rude to the kids not friendly at all to the parents. So many parents I talk to are not happy with her. We are in the process of moving our kids out of the school.

This school is not so great. My child was in second grade. Class size was massive, 28 kids per class(that is the CA state limit!!). This means the teacher has less time to care for each child. Bullying is not properly dealt with. There is no parent engagement at all. If not anything, they will ask for donation in every now and then. Don't set your expectations too high.

I am lucky to get out of this school. All of public schools have bad& good things but this school is not a place I want to send my kids. Leadership is bad, the way they communicate with parents is the worst part of this school. Not liable for what they are supposed to as educators. The school doesn't provide a safe learning environment and doesn't want to deal with any issued brought by parents.

We moved to Dublin last year. My child attended Dublin El last year and now, Kindergarten. School runs like a top private school. We are very happy with DES.

Teachers who write with grammar errors (its/it's, their, they're and so on), unable to help child with the math problem they assign ("just skip it; i don't know how to do it"). Way too much effort put into school fundraisers, parties and special days.. little to none on academic excellence. Kid was sent home with visible scraps on her face and teacher said "i thought she came like that at school". Administration doesn't care about parents or children's needs. Shame to you!

Fantastic school, administration and teachers. Our third year and the kids love it. The new field is also great!

Our daughter goes to Dublin Elementary and we are super happy with the school. Earlier she went to private schools and this is school is more or less on par with the best private schools. Yes, this is not perfect in every respect and not all teachers are at they same level however they are in top tier .And the school is well run and the student population/parents are a good group .

My daughter has been a student at this school for 4 years now. Her first grade teachers were well organized and seemed to understand their students needs. Her 2nd grade teacher was very likeable, however, this teacher is disorganized and doesn't seem to have a clue on how to be a good teacher. Her 3rd grade teacher was terrific, and I can't say enough about how pleased I was with this teacher. At present, my daughter is in 4th grade and her teacher seems to do well with the students, however, this teacher doesn't relate well to parents, which is not productive to the teacher or the parents.
