My kids have been at My School for three years. We looked at a lot of preschool options and knew immediately when we visited My School that it was a special place. From cozy reading corners to art studio, every space is thoughtfully designed to engage the kids in imaginative play and hands-on exploration and it's evident that the teachers genuinely care and are dedicated to the kids. They do a really good job with communication and with organizing special activities and events (i.e. Halloween parade, farm field trips, spring fling, art show, outings to the local coffee shop). Arguably more important than the academics, I feel that they help to prepare my kids with social and emotional skills to navigate the world with kindness and confidence. I wholeheartedly recommend My School to any parent seeking an amazing preschool experience.

My School has been best and easiest decision for our family. My daughter is halfway through her second year there and we couldn’t be happier. We had toured 4 other schools prior to choosing My School. It was by far the easiest decision. We love the Reggio Emilia approach, the teachers are absolutely wonderful and the overall atmosphere is just perfect for our family. This was my daughter’s first experience at a school and the teachers made it the smoothest transition. The community of the school is so great as well! You won’t regret choosing this school!

Two of my children go to MySchool and we LOVE it! The teachers go out of their way to make all students feel safe and welcomed. Highly recommend this amazing school.

Both my children attend this school (one in preschool, one in Kindergarten, who attended for Pre-K last year), and we have had the BEST experience. Both the faculty and admins are incredibly thoughtful, responsive, and caring. My kids love it there, and the staff has done an incredible job both creating an amazingly engaging learning environment and a real community. It's really cool to see the school work follow the sometimes unexpected directions of the kids' interests, and both kids have absolutely exploded in their confidence levels. I really appreciate the teachers' expertise in social-emotional learning and evidence-based approaches to behavioral issues. I think they really understand how to build internal validation and motivation vs the extrinsic motivation, gold stars, punishments, etc that abound in many more traditional schools. My kids are wildly different, but I feel like they're both getting just what they needed because the teachers are so astute and able to really tailor the experience to the individual child.

We have been at My School- Private Preschool through 2nd Grade since September of 2020. Both of my children are now independent, thoughtful, helpful, caring and supportive members of their classroom and larger community. The program allows for children to learn to engage with their surroundings and truly fosters the importance of play based learning. My children can self entertain, love to build and explore and so much of this I attribute to the lovely and caring teachers they have encountered. We are so thankful for My School. What an incredible first experience for a school environment for any child!

We absolutely love My School! My School is child-led and the teachers skillfully incorporate the children’s individual interests and passions into their learning. Their classrooms, learning activities, and child expectations are all developmentally- and age-appropriate. They are committed to art and nature, which is important to our family. My School works closely with parents to build a supportive community and generalize individual learning; they host many unique events throughout the year that showcase all the incredible work and learning the children do. It has been the perfect fit for our children and their differing personalities; our children have thrived (I.e. socially, academically, becoming more independent, etc) at My School and we highly recommend it!

Sending our Daughter to My School is the best decision we could have made for her. Not only is she loving school, she is thriving. I am constantly hearing her tell us she didn’t learn anything at school yet she is learning to read, doing amazing with her writing, learning piano, loving art…..so if she thinks she isn’t learning because it is too much fun…..I call that a win! We have zero regrets sending her to school full time at My School. With the small class sizes, the teachers can better focus on the children

Our experience at My School has been nothing short of amazing. The teachers foster a positive relationship with the children which in turn creates a safe learning environment that allows for the children to thrive. I feel so fortune that we a part of the My School community!

This is our first year at My School and our experience has been phenomenal! This was our son's first time in a classroom setting as he had never attended daycare. We were worried about how he may adjust. However, the caring nature of his teachers and the warm environment of the classroom made for a very natural transition. My School fosters a child's natural curiosity and brings out a love of learning. Children are encouraged to explore and teachers gear "lessons" based on what the students are drawn to. I would highly recommend this school for anyone looking to naturally foster a love of learning.

My daughter went to My School for preschool and PK, and now my son is attending preschool there. We love the child directed approach to learning, the teachers’ engagement and passionate at My School as well as the emphasis on nature and healthy snacks. The portfolio, parent teacher conference and updates keep you informed on your child’s progress which we love being in the know about. We would definitely recommend My School to other families.

We have had a wonderful experience at My School. Our daughter started 2days/week when she was 3. She had never been to day care. The transition away from home and mom and dad took a while for her to be comfortable; the staff was fabulous with this! They provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere where children are free to be kids but also learn. I’m confident all of the staff and teachers are highly trained and skilled. I highly recommend My school and am thrilled at the growth my daughter has made!

I have had two students attend My School. My oldest was only for afterschool care and my youngest has attended for 2 years, full-time. PROS: We have had an amazing experience at My School. The teachers create a creative and fun atmosphere. The school is art-based but they get the kids outside a lot (I'd love even more but my expectations are high because we are 'outdoorsy'). My son comes home singing songs, talking about his experiences and has cultivated adorable friendships. The school is very clean and organized at all times (an impressive feat with so many kids). Any questions/concerns I have had over the years were immediately responded to in a positive and professional way. There is very little teacher turn over, which is indicative of a great work environment and great continuity for the children. If we had another child s/he would definitely attend here and I highly recommend My School.CONS: (only 2 and I would still enroll my child here but are worth mentioning) 1. My chief complaint is the schedule. My School loosely follows the Dover school. However, they begin programming later in the fall, they extend every holiday break by a few days and they take snow days, which is fine, but they don't make them up. I'd rather pay more for tuition to have My School more closely follow the school calendar. 2. I wish there was more communication home. In our other experience, at first, we had handwritten journals a few days a week with photos. The school then upgraded to a web-based format where we'd get a note and photo or video via email. I LOVED getting a short clip of my son happy at school when I was at work. I missed this connection when we transferred to My School.

Our experience at My School wasn't a good one. Considering that this is a daycare facility the children are treated like students and not as young little humans that need love and affection and play time. Yes the environment is homey, however it is unclean and frankly there are safety issues all over the place. The enrichment programs are nice, however I want my child to play, they will have many years of schooling ahead of them.

My child had a wonderful year at My School! She was very comfortable learning in such a warm, homey environment. Her teachers were very kind and professional and the program well prepared her for the routines of kindergarten. I would attribute much of her continuing successes in school to the love of learning that was so well nurtured there.
