My child has had a wonderful experience at the school so far. The teachers are attentive and supportive, and my child feels excited to go to school every day. The curriculum seems well-rounded, and I've noticed significant improvement in their learning. One suggestion I have is to increase communication about upcoming events. Overall, we're very happy with the school and appreciate all the hard work the staff puts in.

I currently have two kids attending this school, and we have so far had a wonderful experience. The social emotional learning aspect is so beautiful- my kids are truly learning how to be good people and good citizens, and they are doing so in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere. The diversity of this school is incredible and the staff and admin lean into it wonderfully. My kids are learning a level of cultural competence that I never got growing up. Academic rigor has been a bit of a worry in the past but I think the pandemic had a lot to do with that as I am seeing a huge uptick in their learning this year! All in all, I treasure the community that Highline commits to creating.

This is such a bad school, the teachers are so disrespectful towards the students and the students are crazy. The students have said slurs that they shouldn’t be saying.

I love this school. The culture is geared towards celebrating all successes and all cultures. I now have my third child attending, and have had several different teachers over the years. The staff is amazing, and very nurturing for our kids. My third child had a hard time starting Kindergarten, and the staff immediately identified some key solutions to help make the transition easier. I can't tell you how many times I've reached out for assistance with one concern or another, and there has ALWAYS been support from the school. The teachers are eager to hear from parents, and have great suggestions for real-life solutions to any struggles facing our kids. The principal is very available for any suggestions or concerns from parents, and takes immediate steps to implement change, once a need is identified. I'm totally impressed with them.

The first few years in this school things were fine. However this year especially has been terrible. Several teachers have just up and left in the middle of the school year due to lack of support from administrators etc. The music teacher does what ever he wants and plays offensive music for the kids, swears at the kids and frankly does what ever he wants with no recourse. The teachers are great but they don't get the support they need. Report cards are not accurate as the school wants to show growth so high performing kids are not rated correctly in order to meet the goal of showing growth. God willing we won't be back to this school next year.

This School is wonderful, the Principal to the custodian. You can tell that the entire staff cares about the student. My son raves about his kindergarten teacher, Ms. McCrakin, whom he loves dearly. He is now in 1st grade and he has a new love, first-grade teacher Ms. Leary. No one has his heart as Ms. McCrackin. Thank you Highline, NE for loving your students
