STRIVE Prep Montbello is a college-preparatory middle school that provides students the opportunity to explore and grow in a safe, caring, and challenging environment. We set and maintain high expectations for our students, parents and faculty and we challenge our entire school community to live by the motto "STRIVE for Excellence." Over the 3 year middle school experience, your child will develop the intellectual skills, cultural competence, belief in self and the engagement in community necessary for success in high school, and life with a focus on social justice. We use the Valor Compass circle curriculum to support our students with socio-emotional learning, and also have speech and debate, sports clubs, student council, and student-led GSA. There are opportunities for your child to engage outside of school and practice their leadership.

My overall experience with STRIVE Prep Montbello has been excellent. They are a school that take each students learning and safety serious.

STRIVE-Prep Montbello has went above and beyond in the education process during these uncertain times. As difficult as it has been, the teachers and staff have exceeded my expectations in keeping the students involved and active in remote learning. I couldn't have placed my twins in a better school. Absolutely love Strive Prep Montbello

Strive Prep Montbello has far exceeded my family's expectations. The teachers and staff work in Harmony together to encourage each student to be the best they can be as a person and as a student. They go the extra mile to make sure your child is successful academically and personally. They care for the students and their families. We are a small enough school to receive personalized attention from the teachers and staff. The atmosphere is always upbeat, loving, and caring. My daughter is in the MI center. She has autism. She loves school. She loves her teachers and feels like they really care about her as a person. She is supported every day by the most amazing MI center team. She is doing really well in school academically. She is on the Honor Roll again this year. Like I said, they know how to get your child to succeed in school. She feels like she belongs there. Like they are an extended part of our family. Strive Prep Montbello is better than any Cherry Creek School. We were in the Cherry Creek School District before my daughter was in Middle School. All my older children all went to Cherry Creek Schools and I have to say Strive Prep Montbello is better than any Cherry Creek School any day.

I love Strive Montbello! The teachers are personable, dedicated and they communicate very well wheter it's a text/phone call/app/email. I've had problems with communication at other schools as a parent, but Strive has taken measures to allevaite that. As a parent I want to know and be involved. In the beginning I did hear some negative things based on the old Montbello high, but Mrs. Lau is open and willing to make changes as well as sacrifices to combat that negativity. As a member of the Montbello community I appreciate that, because we're able to have quality education without going outside of the area.

amazing!!! i recommend this school to any parent who like strong communication with the teachers and principal and any of the staff
