I loved the school the teachers were nice and I had a lot of help through out the school year it is amazing how well I did when I was there for first through fifth grade the teachers were nice there was people always around to help I am in 9th grade now and I can say that school is the best elementary school I have ever been too.

This is the worst experience I have ever had in a school. Definitely do your research before enrolling in any school in this district. All problems are top down, so you will get nowhere if you have a big issue.

Y.E.S. is a very good primary school. The principal is involved, fun and dynamic; the teaching staff is communicative, responsive and generally nurturing, with a good balance of education and fun. Almost all of the staff I've had the opportunity to deal with are great. I took away one star because I find one particular main office staffer condescending and at times downright unfriendly to both parents and students alike and unfortunately it's hard to get around having interactions with her, given her position on the "front lines" of the school. Other than that, however, Y.E.S. is great and I'm happy to send my 2 children here.

Yahara is a family-centered school, where families have lots of opportunities to be involved in their children's education. There is a real sense of community there and the kid's take ownership in their school, allowing them to feel safe, happy, positive and excited to learn.

I love Yahara Elementary School because it is a fun environment. It has a great principal, great teachers, helpful working support staff, and wonderful kids. And of course, the parents are cool too.

The principal, Roy Bernards, rocks. He knows everyones first and last names, and does his best to meet the needs of all the students and parents.

The entire Yahara staff, from the principal to the custodians, all work so very hard to provide the best elementary school experience for each and every student. They are progressive and cutting-edge in their methods, open-minded in their processes, highly responsive in problem solving and complete thier jobs with a wonderfully positive attitude.

It's a great school that has great teachers and a wonderful principal. My kids have never said 'I don't want to go to school today', I think that says it all right there.

We have a great group of parents involved in the PTA and volunteering to bring great programs and fundraisers to our school! We had the Pro Kids Show to YES last month. We have raised enough money to buy a few new playground pieces. what a great community!

I have had 3 children attend this school over the last 19 years. The latest principal is by far the best yet! Majority of teachers are great too, very in tune and personable. One of the secretarys in the office is not very pleasant but she gets the job done.
