Every teacher and staff member at the school has been so accommodating ! My son needed speech therapy and they truly worked with him until there was no speech issue whatsoever .

We have had only great things to say about this school. The staff is very educated, and friendly. The teachers are caring and approachable. Every teacher we have had has been wonderful. The office staff has been friendly and helpful EVERY time I have needed assistance. The parent/grandparent involvement at this school is absolutely amazing compared to other schools in the area. My 3 children currently attending this school have always felt safe and comfortable going to school every morning.

I chose 3 stars because it's an average school. The staff is good at communication and other parents are supportive

IF YOU ARE READING AND CAN STILL SEE THIS, just so you know, if you write a BAD review of Dickinson, it doesn't get put up. So I won't bother as this will ALSO be deleted. Shows how much they want to cover their flaws. Reviews are EXACTLY for this reason...to REVIEW the school, everyone is different. But mine BOTH weren't great, and they have BOTH disappeared in minutes. Hmmmm. So this time I'll rate all 5 stars and see if it stays. DICKINSON HIDES TOO MUCH BEHIND THE NUMBERS, REPORT CARDS, AND INATTENTIVE TEACHERS!

My son went to Dickinson from K - 4. The teachers were almost all great (one 3rd grade teacher was a nightmare - should have pulled him from her class). The art and music teachers are wonderful. At the time my son started K he could already read and they were not prepared for those kids. We had no problem with bullying but there was one child with behavior problems and he was quickly removed for the safety of the other children. I was able to discuss my concerns with the Principal and she was very helpful. This school has a very wonderful and strong parent involvement. The building is old but well maintained and not one teacher left this school to go to the newer school when it was built. We had a very good experience here.
