I used to be a student at this school. I graduated in 2024. My mental health has been declining ever since I stepped foot in that building. The counselors did not help; the teachers were awful and taught me nothing. I'm currently in high school and feel like two years of my life have been wasted. This school failed me.

My son is a 7th grader here, so far till this year every teacher he’s had till now said how lucky they are to have had him in their class and what a good boy he is. There’s one teacher this year that my son says that he feels hates him. She targets and ridicules the “sport” kids and gives extra favors to the other kids. My son says not a day goes by where she isn’t yelling at them for nothing, rolling her eyes when they say something, saying smart comments after my sons group answers a question like “good thing the answer was on the board or you would have gotten that wrong!” I understand that teaching this age group can be challenging but please treat the kids with respect!!

Safe, well-organized, good variety of extracurriculars and electives, teachers care, top notch facilities, excellent parent communication

Amazing school. The teachers here are wonderful and respectful. Lunch and recess are at the perfect time, the only downside is that they are a little short. Most of the students here think that we should get an extra 5-10 minutes, but, what can we do about it?

I don't recommend De Pere Middle School. There are too many issues with the over-crowded conditions of the school and the circumstances that are caused by that. The principals and teachers are not effective in my opinion. The problems have only become worse and certain groups of students are favored. Our child observed many students that were just ignored. We have been to several schools in the district and it is the same things happening at every school- bullying, hate groups, teachers looking the other way, teachers favoring certain students from certain families. Like other reviewers, I found the same problems that just aren't being addressed.

After a few months at the school I left. I wasn’t put in adequate classes for my level and the bullying problem is awful.

De Pere Middle School has old technology. Surrounding school districts are way ahead of us in terms of technology. Why? Our administration at the middle school and at the district level are uncomfortable with technology. As a community, we need to speak up to help our students. We need new leadership.

This school chooses to look the other way instead of dealing with the problems that lay in front of them.
