- Submitted by parent on August 01, 2019Our child attended pre-k here and we were pleased with the experience. As a family new to town, we found the Redbud community to be very welcoming. I especially appreciated the family book that was put together that helped us to visualize the kids, their families, and their interests. The care was calm and loving and I think my child progressed significantly in his ability to understand himself and his place in the world, to make friends, and to develop independence in meeting his needs.
- Submitted by parent on November 02, 2010Redbud actually has 36 kids, not 11. Age can begin a bit below 3 and go above 5. The teachers are highly trained, have many years of experience, and participate in continuing education opportunities- they are truly teachers, not just day-care type care providers. Parents are involved in diverse school activities. The kids develop knowledge and skills well above their grade level and are commonly over-prepared for entering regular kindergarten or first grade. Kids are treated with dignity and compassion. This is a very impressive school.
