I have two children at Hindley Elementary a girl going into 2nd grade and a boy going into 5th. Our 3 years at the school have been amazing so far. The community is very tight nit and very close with the faculty. From before and after school programs, to choir and orchestra the programs are amazing. The kids take great pride in the school and are often decked out in Hindley-gear. The PTO also does an amazing job as my wife is heavily involved and nominated to be co-chair in 2016-17. Rita Ferri has been a tremendous asset to the school but she is retiring this year. Hopefully the incoming principal can fill her shoes.

I currently have four children attending Hindley School. I'm very impressed with the teachers involvement and dedication to the students. Teachers are always available and willing to provide my children extra help if they need it. The school environment is friendly and everyone looks out for each other!

Amazing school with families that truly care about what's best for the kids and look after one another. And, the Principal, Rita Ferri, brings 110% everyday.

I have 2 daughters who have had an extraordinary experience at this school. The teachers have been excellent and really pushed them to achieve their full potential.

I love this school. The principal and assistant principal are helpful and always available. Sure, there is no air conditioning, and the building is a bit old, but it has great bones and an army of dedicated teachers and parents. Some parents view Hindley as a private school even though it is public. Yes, it is that good. Consider, for example, that my 9 year old daughter took a SUMMER school class in study skills by her own choice. Why? Because it was taught by a Hindley teacher!

I have a daughter who is entering her fifth year at Hindley and a son who is entering his third year at Hindley (who has special needs). The principal, Rita Ferri, is amazing, especially in leading the charge to accommodate my son and provide him with the extra support he needs. The staff is enthusiastic, caring and comprised of excellent educators. The music program (2x/week plus an orchestra, band, chorus) is phenomenal - my daughter loves playing the violin- and the reading program is superior as well. When my daughter needed more challenging work, the teachers provided her with it. There's no need for private school when you have a great school like Hindley!
