Teachers are good.Front desk people has so much attitude and racism..they don't talk to people much or being rude.Please change this attitude and work for you are paid for. School is the place where kids learn things from. Also accept people from different parts of the world who are here to build & improve this country.

Our child’s experience with the school so far has been wonderful and the one star less rating is because we as parents are still experiencing various aspects of the school such as bookfairs, movie nights, field days, scouts. We are trying to see how we can assist our child n school community in the areas we think they need improvement. The PTA at school isn’t diverse they don’t make efforts to involve new joinees each year. Well we have few years hopefully will be able to give a 5 star rating n review.

Matt has been great so far for my child. She has shown a lot of growth and development over the years and I attribute that to the teachers and staff members that show a high level of care and professionalism. I would like to experience more parent contact whenever my child starts fall behind on a few things, but as a former teacher, I can understand the difficulty in that. Teachers have lives too. I gave this school a 5 star rating because I do believe that it is ran well by administration, the transportation to and from is pretty good, and the teachers do their jobs at a high level. One recommendation is to have bus monitors, sometimes kids can get a little rowdy during transit

The school is phenomenal with both teacher and parent involvement. Our son has been going Here two years and Loves the school. It is a very diverse mix of cultures and backgrounds. The administration is always engaged and keeps us Updated on any issues regarding our child. Couldn’t be happier with a matt elementary!

MES has been truly a wonderful school. Every staff member we have come in contact with has been awesome! The teachers go above and beyond to help their students succeed.

If your child is any race then white run from this school. My child teachers tell kids not to talk to him. And if he does anything just go tell on him.

Unlike some parents, I appreciate that the teachers effectively teach and complete the required schooling during the course of the day so that homework is not necessary for the student to be successful. Our children need the break from bookwork to learn through play, socialization, and after-school activities, without the burden of more work when they get home from the classroom.

My daughter is currently in the 5th grade and has attended Matt since Kindergarten. She is in the gifted program and for most of her time in elementary school has maintained an A average. She has so much pride in her school and has tried out for everything (not that they offer alot) from solos in chorus to The See NN program (something she wanted so badly to do since Kindergarten) anything she could. She has never once been offered anything. When I found out there was a positioning up on SeeNN, I told her she could go talk to someone. Her response "why bother". I was always so proud of her wanting to be involved with her school,I realize not every kid can be picked for everything, but nothing in 6 years? Maybe if I was on the PTA Board she would have a chance. Last year for Reflections, a National PTA Art contest, the kids with parents on our PTA placed in the contest. Also, parent involvement is not welcomed, you fill out a form at Open House asking if you want to volunteer and for what. The past three years I checked every box, but was never asked to volunteer. I know I sound frustrated, this is the one & only time I have ever vented.

My daughter has attended Matt since pre-school. She is now entering 4th grade. My son is an upcoming 1st grader. I can't say enough about the quality of the teachers. The atmosphere is loving, and family oriented. Parental involvement is high, and test scores speak for themselves. The best thing about the school is my kids are loved there, therefore, they love going. . My child receives special education services at Matt and all of these are top notch. The IEP meetings are well run, and being that my kid is an "out of the box" child, the school has met the challenge of doing whats best for her, always. I am listened to as a parent and my input is received and acted on. I have had excellent communication with the teachers, counselors, and resource personel. The staff is like family and even though there are 1026 kids enrolled, we never feel like a number. It's just an all around great school.

All the teachers are amazing.... They are considerate of each child's individual needs. The only complaint I have had was with the nurse and counselor. I think they could be a little more cautious on how they approach kids.

Matt is a wonderful school! We just moved to the area this school year and my son's teacher is very caring, and loving. He is learning so much because she is such a wonderful teacher! This school has a friendly atmosphere and the front desk staff are always eager to help and are very friendly as well.

Matt is an outstanding school. It excels academically and has a strong focus on success but most importantly does not lose sight of the fact that they are teaching children. They recognize that the children are individuals with unique personalities and needs. The have created a peaceful and encouraging environment for children to strive for success and still have fun and be happy. The principle and teachers are excellent!!

Matt Elementary School is an amazing School. The whole staff is so helpful and always so positive! We are so thankful that our children attend this school. Matt Elementary definately deserves all FIVE STARS!!!

I can't say enough GREAT things about this school, the staff, the environment & the area. My husband and I transferred here for work and have lived in the area for almost 5 yrs. Both of our children, now ages 6 & 8 have attended Matt Elem since Kindergarten. The teacher's have been AMAZING. From Ms. Kim that works the front desk, to the principal, the librarian's, teacher's and even the cook's in the cafeteria...they are all SPECTACULAR. We are so very blessed to have landed here :)
