I am blown away, and NOT in a good way by this school. You shouldn't ever go to a school where you're worried about something each day. I get a headache from all the talking at least twice a week, and there's ALWAYS constant talking EVERYWHERE. Don't even get me started on the discrimination, bullying and fights. There's probably 8 fights a month. In my grade level. There are some terrible people there too. I've heard terrible things about what some students do there, and my friend caught people smoking/vaping in the bathroom. There's no parent involvement either, other than to sign some papers when they get in trouble or for payments. If you're trying to go here for the spanish "program", it's not worth it. The teachers aren't worth it. In conclusion, the cons HEAVILY outweigh the pros, and I learned that the hard way.

Two kids in middle school here now and cannot wait for them to be done. Blown away by the decline in teacher quality and academic standards that we have seen just over the last five years in the district, and especially at Roberta. Awful, awful quality of teachers. Kids come home every day with stories of teachers crying, screaming at kids, slamming doors - doing everything but teaching. Accountability of transportation in non-existent - busses late every day, skipping stops, etc. and nothing is done about it. In order the district's priorities are first student wellness, then academics. How about I worry about my child's wellness and you worry about teaching them? Just the worst.
