Our family has been in this school for two years and it has been a wonderful experience! If you want to be successful in life you must strive, practice and strive, teachers are loving and committed, it is the kind of place where you feel that your children are safe, it does not free you from your responsibility as a parent to be attentive to your children's learning. If you don't agree with Christian education, this is not your place, because it is a wonderful school with biblical foundations

It's standard practice here to not let 4 and 5 year old children go to the bathroom as needed. I've had a few friends have this very same experience. My granddaughter wet and soiled herself 2 times yesterday after asking to go and was not allowed (not the first time). This is embarrassing for a child and infuriates me. This school is also habitual for sending kids home when nothing is wrong with them. Additionally it is notorious for checking temps after they come in from playing and calling the parents for pickup for "fevers" that don't exists. They often belittle the parents as if they don't know how to parent and even changed my infant grand daughters feeding AMOUNT without permission. My daughter has had to remind them more than once that they are not her medical doctor. I haven't figured out how everyone thinks this school is an exceptional place when they hire teachers that are inept to do their jobs to provide basic necessities. Don't even get me started about the infant teachers that they hire. Occasionally and I mean occasionally there is 1 good teacher in the bunch, but believe me when I say the rest shouldn't care for animals let alone children. It does you NO good to speak with the director when you have problems because she will also talk down to you. If you want to be enraged at least once a week this is your place, but I suggest finding somewhere else to take your babies.

where do I begin this school is extremely homophobic transphobic sexist and racist the teachers do not care if you're being bullied or harassed even if it happens right in front of them the brushed it off like its absolutely nothing even if you go to the principal he won't do anything especially if the students family works at the school that's how they get the power or status that they have all because of their family's place in the school. not to mention the teachers give way to much homework and expect you to get it done in such short amounts of time but don't grade it till weeks later which makes your grade suffer tremendously because you have so little things in the grade book not to mention one of the former teachers gave the students with higher grades better attention and treat them better than the students who aren't as smart or who aren't passing their grade also this school claims to not tolerate bullying but they do that absolutely don't care. I would not reccomed this school to anyone not even my worst enemy I mean yeah sure you will definitely fit in if you're white straight able bodied skinny a cis male or female and a firm believer of god otherwise you won't survive here mentally you may academically but this school has absolutely ruined my mental health please do not and I repeat do not send your kids here it won't be good for them in the long run trust me on this

Great school! Both of my children have attended since K-5. My daughter is now a Junior in college at UNC Chapel Hill and my son is a senior at Concord Academy. I feel that the school has prepared them well. Faith based was important to my husband and I. Both of my children were accepted to all of the colleges that they applied to which included: UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Wilmington, UNC Charlotte, NC State, App State, ECU, and Wingate. No one school is perfect, but I believe that the teachers and administrators have a love for the children and want to see them succeed. I believe that it is an awesome school and would highly recommend it to others.

Horrible. They do not follow their mission and vision. I am very disappointed in this school. They promote following the love of Christ but all I have gotten from this daycare is harassment, disappointment, bullying and slander

Currently have two children in the school and we couldn't be happier with their teachers, the administration and Christ Centered education they are receiving.

In the negatives. I counted the days until I graduated and I only ever go back to either flip off the building passing by it or to see the only two teachers who were ever kind to me.

After being homeschooled for eight years, my older daughter attended the high school at CFAA for four years. We chose this school because we wanted a God-centered and academically-challenged education for our daughter(s). My older daughter has hearing loss, so she needed preferential seating throughout her four years at the high school. The school always worked alongside us to help our daughter excel in her studies, and to also stretch her to try new activities, etc. Already being a hard worker, our daughter strived for excellence, and she not only became the valedictorian of her graduating class, but she earned the title of National Merit Finalist. This opened many collegiate doors and full-ride scholarships for our daughter. Our younger daughter, also homeschooled for eight+ years, has been attending CFAA for the past three years, and she is also excelling at this high school. She has gained more confidence in her abilities and strengths as she has been encouraged in her walk with the Lord. Our family is a racially-blended family, and my daughters were accepted and nourished in their studies, spirituality, and their characters. My prayer is that this school will continue to grow in its stated mission to offer a Christ-centered education. As some have said, there are no perfect schools; neither are their perfect people. As parents, we do the work of instilling diligence, good character, faith, and hard work in our children. We only asked that the school of our choice come alongside us to help further build and maintain what we started. For us, CFAA has done just this for our daughters. Thank you, CFAA!

Our daughter has attended CFAA from Kindergarten to now 7th grade. She has grown spiritually, academically, athletically, and in the arts while attending this school. CFAA is not a perfect school, there is room for improvement in several areas, but we make a choice to invest in a school where the saving name of Jesus is taught and spoken.

Our family had been a part of CFA Academy from K4 through now 9th grade. It has been a blessing to know my two children are in a safe environment. They have caring teachers, they are being challenged academically, and are rounding out their personalities with extra curricular activities they love. We are so thankful to be in a school that has a strong focus on spiritual growth, academics, athletics, and the arts. We love CFA Academy!

I wish there were a 2.5 star rating. The elementary school is great. Nothing negative to say there. But, starting in MS, and esp in HS, you won't get what you pay for, in my opinion. There is ZERO consistency. The rules look good on paper, but they are NOT enforced. Something that one may get detention for on Tuesday will be just fine on Wednesday - depending on whose class you're sitting in and the mood of administration on that day. I've seen students wear clothing that is clearly, without question, inappropriate and nothing is said, while others will be written up for wearing a plain-colored, non-offensive t-shirt. "Community service" will typically consist of running errands for the principal or cleaning the office/classrooms. Yes, there is favoritism. And yes, I am quite sure there are some teachers who give (high) grades that are not earned (my own being recipient of such grades). The students are not held accountable when they don't show responsibility. Don't be too quick to think that the negative reviews of this school are simply disgruntled parents/students. I'm sure there are families who have had nothing but good experiences at cfa. But there are just some things that some people will see and others won't. No school is perfect. There are positives to sending your children to cfa Academy, such as the small class size, the close, lasting friendships the kids form with one another, and the fact that they have chapel every week. But if it is of utmost importance to you to have the highest advantages of a private/Christian school for your children...Just do your research, pray, and spend your hard-earned money well.

Our son struggled in public school. Since making the decision to enter him in CFA we have seen great results in his academics, attitude, and character. We thought we'd try it for a year to see how it went, now we can't imagine him anywhere else.

CFA Academy has been such a blessing to our family. Our son has always been exposed to a Christ-centered educational environment for the past several years beginning with Pre-K. Two years ago we decided to change him from the Christian school he attended from Pre-K to 2nd grade for a more well-rounded Christian and loving environment. The teachers at CFA Academy are extremely caring and response to the needs of the students growth.

When I enrolled my child at CFA, I didn't want her to be just another kid in a classroom. She has thrived in more ways than I ever expected. We have been @ CFA for 3 years and she surprises me constantly with what she learns. My child has had special bonds with her teachers that show they care with love and support.

We have had an excellent four years at the CFA Academy. My daughter, who is currently in the 2nd grade, has found the teachers helpful and the curriculum adequately challenging. She enjoys going to school each day where learning is fun. The teachers are great by keeping the parents informed on your child's progress. They are willing to assist with all children to ensure they get what is needed in order for them to thrive. I am looking forward to upcoming years at CFA Academy.

I have 2 sons, both attending cfa Academy. My boys have had some challenges due to speech delays and disfluency. The teachers and administration were very understanding and patient to work with us when we had to travel to a public school therapist. The teachers were open and communicative with us regarding classroom & education needs pertaining to their speech challenges. My two boys have blossomed here, I feel, due to the smaller classroom sizes, Christian atmosphere, & experienced teachers.

The curriculum for this school is truly watered down for a so called christian school. They are money hungry and live in your pockets. They force your children to bring in food for every student in their classsroom for their "International Food Festival", or else it affects their grades. Insane! They force you to participate in their fundraisers or else your children will not be allowed to participate, on a regular school day, in a party they plan for only the children who brought in money from the fundraiser. They make your children sit in the office if they come to school on this day. Discriminatory!!! This CFA industry has to be racking in over a million dollars per year. It still is not enough. They beg for money and all kinds of things every month for things they should provide. They have no gym for grades k-8, only high schoolers. Why pay over $6,000 a year for this poor arrangement. The staff truly favors certain children, not very fair with all the children. They are not on one page and very late with providing you with school calendar and events. It is all about your money!!! Get ready to pay out on top of tuition and over priced lunch!!! CFA says, "show me the money"!

My kids love CFA Academy! The academics are challenging and they are able to participate in a wonderful fine arts programs as well as sports. The teachers have been great so far and are willing to offer support after school as needed. Communication has been a key factor and we always know what is going on. Parents can log-in at any point and view their kids assignments and grades! The academics have been very challenging especially in middle and high-school. We couldn't be happier and would recommend CFA Academy to any prospective families.

Very dismayed by the events that occurred at this school. No response from Administration to issues with bullying in middle school which was tolerated and subsequently I removed my child and it was by far a "minor" issue my child was bullied physically and verbally by another student and the other student was NOT SUSPENDED! I am sorely disappointed as we were there for all of elementary school and half of middle. The education in the middle school is below subpar, students who leave in middle are behind public school and struggle. Not at all acceptable
