The teachers will give you a lot of homework. m actually writing this in class and we have a project for all of our classes. they will push you to do a lot of work but the teaching s pretty good. Some teachers are horrible but some are actually good. It's an ok school but not that good in teachers.

As a fellow educator and parent I have been amazed with Harris Road Middle School. Their academics are top notch but above that they respect their students and families. I am so proud to be part of this amazing community!

Teachers are mean and sometimes they would give you a 0 for turning in an assignment.

Both of my children have had great years at HRMS. My oldest just went to CMHS all honors classes and my middle child is in 7th and still loves the school. No issues and they are both thriving especially in math!

Average. Public schools are failing our kids especially at this school if they need extra help

I am currently in my 5th year as an HRMS parent. My oldest is now a sophomore in high school and he is doing exceptionally well due in part to the excellent preparation that he received at Harris Road. I currently have a 7th grader who is also thriving at this school. As an active member of the PTSO I have had many interactions with the faculty, staff and admin and have had only positive experiences. I would venture to guess that those who have posted negative reviews are not very involved at the school.

I went to Harris Road all three years. I had some positive experiences but overall, the school was a nightmare. The bullying problem is horrific. The staff does nothing to help the students and kids are getting made fun of and hurt constantly.

This is my daughter's 3rd and final year at Harris Road. She has had zero negative experiences. The staff and teachers have been amazing!

I have had great experiences with this school for the past two years. I have absolutely no complaints. My daughter is in honors classes and consistently scores above the 95th percentile for state tests.

My daughter has gone here for 2 years and has really begun to blossom! The school work is challenging, and that's good. The band teachers are dedicated and teach the kids well.

This school has made me completely unprepared for high school. The teachers and principals should be more concerned with the success of their students and less concerned on whether or not someone is chewing gum. The teachers did not enforce any rules whatsoever, which meant fights would break out more than they should. This school has major issues, and the first thing we need to change is the administration. A professional principal means a professional school, which Harris road lacks.

The principal at this school has not taken the preventative measures to prevent bullying in this school. There is no research based program in place, and the admin team seems to think blaming the victim is okay, "He needs to tell someone." Really? That is not a proper response. The culture of the school needs to be cultivated and research based methods put into place. Just because many of the kids come from wealthy households does not mean that bullying doesn't occur. Just because the principal thinks that this is a "good" school doesn't mean there doesn't need to be something done. Someone should sue. It is too late in this day and age to not have a plan. Teachers need a leader and he needs to step up.

My review was removed for some odd reason so here we go again...... Harris Road is run by an unprofessional administration who seems more concerned with winning bus races than their students. The principal had no professionalism and lacks emotion or empathy for the plight of some of the victims of bullying in his school. I've never seen kids that get away with everything. There are no consequences to the actions of outright cruel bullying. My son was physically assaulted and verbally abused constantly and nothing was done. God bless any child that has to go to Harris Road.
