This school is great! Only if you are somewhat special to the staff or other kids and are somewhat special to them. The staff constantly picks favorites in all situations and jumps to unfair conclusions constantly. This is a great school to come to if you want to be harassed! Most of the kids here are rude, disrespectful, and unfiltered. The way they "investigate" situations is just sad. The teachers pick favorites and sides and are extremely rude. They don't care how much it is bothering the other student, they will still side with their favorites. No matter what situation it is they don't care at all. The staff also lies about situations to make them sound/ feel better about themselves. This school is unfair and needs to pay more attention to all the things that happen around the school. They will constantly preach about being against bullying, but they clearly can't resolve anything.

I am very unhappy with the middle school. The elementary school and high school staffs are much more involved and care for the students. The middle school principal is condescending, and ineffective on every level.

i hate this school because one of the science teacher last year was harrassing a student by yelling at her and always sending her out in the hallway and not doing work for the whole hour.he also suspended her when he was filling in for the principal 2 times one the times he did it for insabordination because she was 10 minutes late to class because she had to use the bathroom. when she was in the bathroom he issued a school wide search. and they found her in the bathroom and when she came out they were standed on the top of the stairs and stared to argue with her that she should of not been in the bathroom that long.then they sended her down to the office and made her sit in a room and do her wook there. then he came back in about 15 minutes later and told her she was suspended and didnt tell her why.the next day they came back in the morning because she was suspended that day . she asked why she was suspend and they told her insabordination because she was defending herself while they were standing on the stairs. then he went off topic during the meeting and sended out of the room to talk to her parent about other thing not pertaining to the topic to cover it up and nothing was done.great school if you want your children harrased.

A couple of the teachers enjoy what they do, majority do not. Hang around this school long enough and you'll witness teachers saying insulting things about students (regardless of who is around to hear their rude, disparaging remarks) and TO students (which is is always a great way to boost self esteem or encourage them to strive to do their best). Several of the teachers are unresponsive to requests for information about how your individual child is doing (flat out ignoring letters or emails as if they didn't happen). The principal is both the principal of the middle school and the district athletic director. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that one job will suffer when someone has 2 full time jobs.There are fights EVERY DAY in the middle school and high school. Rather than punish everyone involved, the staff has a habit of "investigating" and taking sides. This results in a constant and pointless problem solving tactic of "he said, she said" battles.

Our children love their school, are engaged in their classes and have had the opportunity to take advanced placement classes.
