Our daughter transferred to St. Ursula Villa this past year (2023) from another parochial school. The transition has been extraordinary and beyond what we ever imagined. Marta Runnels warmly welcomed us to the school and helped guide and lead us to our decision to transfer to our daughter. We asked so many questions and she was so kind and compassionate through the entire process!Our experience across the board has been incredible. From the leadership, starting with Principal Vance, the entire faculty team, and especially her classroom teacher(s) Mrs. Smith and Ms. Hass, to the after-care team led by Ms. Scherer. It has all blown us away. We immediately noticed a difference in our daughter's communication, social and intellectual development. The curriculum, specials and overall educational instruction has made such an impact on her! We are beaming to see her confidence and the pride in her work be so important to her. We also appreciate the ability to be involved with family projects, classroom and school-wide events. It is very evident that St. Ursula Villa's community within the faculty, and the amazing families we have met, have the best chemistry and unity a parent can ever ask for in their child's educational journey. We are so grateful to be a part of the St. Ursula Villa family. We are excited to watch and support our daughter's continued progress and development with SUV!

St. Ursula Villa is an amazing school, and we feel so fortunate that our children have this place to learn and grow. We have been very pleased and impressed with our children's experience both at the Manor House in the Montessori program and now in the Main school. The Villa is such a welcoming community with so many opportunities available to students and families both in and out of the classroom. The smaller class sizes make for a very supportive and child-attentive educational environment. We couldn't be more pleased with the teachers and all the Villa staff; they are so knowledgeable and skilled and truly know and care about our children. Academics are a high priority at the Villa, but also solidification of values and faith development are center to the educational experience of each student. Each day when we send our children to school, we feel peace and pride in knowing they are developing into the best versions of themselves due to having the opportunity to attend SUV.

The Villa really is a community. The students always have a smile on their faces and are excited to learn. The academics are outstanding but they also teach the kids to be outstanding people. We couldn’t be happy to be part of the Villa community.

Several years ago, we started in the Villa's preschool program as a trial run to evaluate what type of schools we'd select for our children. Today, we can't imagine being anywhere else and consider the Villa community a vital component of our family, faith and the foundation for our children's futures.

If you're looking for a school with a cliquey social scene that an easy child can fit into with little extra effort, you'll probably love it here because the teachers are truly great and the campus is beautiful. But if your situation requires legitimate effort, I pray you have a better experience than we did because you'll realize quickly that the "Villa Values" are more of a selling point than a core practice for the administration.

St Ursula Villa nurtures each student as an individual with emphasis on academic excellence, faith, and community. The teachers are dedicated to helping each student be successful in the classroom and beyond. They have inspired my son to expand his knowledge, to help others through community service opportunities, and to become a more faith filled individual.

St. Ursula Villa is a great school to develop well rounded students. The curriculum is challenging, the teachers are engaged and supportive and the Villa community of parents is fantastic. The school does a great job in preparing its students to be successful in high school

St. Ursula Villa provided my children the educational and social tools they needed to excel in high school and beyond. The faculty challenged them and nurtured them, helping them grow both socially and academically. The facilities are top notch and the setting within Mount Lookout is beautiful. At St. Ursula Villa they made lasting friendships and memories that they will cherish for years to come.

Our 3 children graduated from St. Ursula Villa and they each had their own learning styles and personalities. And each thrived with a strong foundation for what was ahead. The high school transition was seamless and they had a strong sense of self and community to take with them. Sending them to the Villa was the best decision we made as parents.

From the moment we stepped foot on campus we have(as a whole family) felt welcomed and loved. Our children feel safe and secure while at school. Their confidence both academically and socially prove my point! They have been given the tools to be dynamic and successful adults! There is no other place like the Villa. The Villa is THE WHOLE PACKAGE!

St. Ursula Villa is the complete package in my opinion. My kids are receiving a top-notch education, are surrounded by a supportive community, and benefit from excellent extracurricular classes (music, art, language..). My children are thriving in the environment the Villa has created and as parents, we feel a powerful sense of community with fellow parents and school teachers and staff.

St Ursula Villa is a family....my children are supported by not only their teachers, but by their peers and family community. Not only do the teachers encourage them to do their best - they SUPPORT them in doing so. We could not be happier to have our children in a positive, thriving and loving school.

We couldn't be happier with our choice to send our children to St. Ursula Villa. They are thriving socially, academically and spiritually! We strongly feel the Villa is the best value in Catholic grade schools in Cincinnati and are confident our children will be very prepared for whichever high school they choose.

We moved our kids from there and it was the best thing we could've done. One of my children actually did much better and the other child about the same academically and it was much less expensive to send them to a regular Catholic school. There are way too many good Catholic schools that are as good or better for a fraction of the cost. Save your money for college!

This is my son s third year and every day he is excited to go to school. When I pick him up he s in such a good mood, which speaks volumes as to how much St. Ursula Villa truly is an exceptional school. My son has learned so much academically while developmentally he has become a curious and confident five year old. The faculty is caring, gifted and attentive to their students while parents are involved and supportive in all aspects. We love SUV!

St. Ursula Villa offers students an outstanding education. Teachers are experienced, extremely dedicated and care deeply about each child's individual needs. The new principal, Polly Duplace, has been an amazing addition to the Villa. She is an innovator who has already added a number of excellent programs to the school - including a gifted program, a service learning program and an expanded foreign language program. There are also numerous co-curricular and summer programs for students. St. Ursula Villa offers a nurturing school community that is ideal for helping every child reach their fullest academic and social potential. We feel so lucky to be a part of the Villa community.
