All three of our children have attended Kilgour. It is an exceptional neighborhood school serving K-6 grades, and a significant "feeder school" to Walnut Hills High School (best in Ohio), School for the Creative and Performing Arts, and Clark Montessori High School. The building is a beautiful, restored and expanded 1920's building with a warm and caring staff. It's large enough for ample extracurricular activities/clubs, but small enough to get to know all of the families and be a part of the east side communities of Mt Lookout, Hyde Park, Madisonville, and Oakley that feed into the attendance area.Excellent academics and a variety of experienced and creative faculty. I would not hesitate to recommend this school to anyone else living in the east side of Cincinnati, as it is academically superior to surrounding private schools and connected to Walnut Hills.

Kilgour is the best public elementary school in Cincinnati. The neighborhood is amazing as well. Great teachers and phenomenal parent involvement. I wouldn't want to send my child anywhere else in Cincinnati.

My daughter started in K now in 6th grade and now my son first year there. I love this school, teachers care about the kids excelling they love the kids.. Mrs. Cook is awesome, she goes above and beyond for all of the children. I'm not sure how she remember each school.. I'm so privileged to have a principal dedicated like her.

I have had 3 boys at Kilgour. I loved the school As well as the boys. We are moving back to the district to be able to put our granddaughter in the school. The facility and faculty are amazing.
